What are the different Hero Types?

All heroes in the game are only divided into three types: Warrior, Hunter, and Wizard. The hero type icons on the upper-left corner of their portraits will help you determine their type without opening their details screen.

If you’re viewing the hero’s details, you can see their type in the upper-left corner as well, beside their character model as shown below.

Hero types will help you know where they should be placed in your party’s formation. As an obvious rule of thumb, warriors are at the front lines of a formation, while wizards stay in the supporting/rear line. As for hunters, you can put them in either front or back, depending on their ability.
