How do I unlock the Ring and Accessory slots?

Characters are able to equip a variety of items from the beginning. These include Weapons, Shoes, Armor, Gloves, Rings, and Accessories.
The Ring and Accessory slots are locked by default. In order to unlock them, you need to attain the following requirements:
Ring: Reach level 25 with your character
Necklace: Reach level 30 with your character.
