This question is in regards to a hero's troop skill. My army is shooter focused. I use Ephraim (+7), Phoenix (+5), Mars (+5), and two 4 star heros Griffin (+5) and Hartwell (+5). Together, that formation offers Shooter ATK 350%, DEF 350%, HP 350% and Troop ATK 40%, DEF 40%, HP 40%. Sending all shooters, this provides me the most kills from other hero formations I could use. I tried to send Ephraim, Phoenix, Mars, Marlowe (+5) and Meyers (+4). This formation offered me Shooter ATK 250%, DEF 250%, HP 250% and Troop ATK 105.6%, DEF 105.6%, HP 105.6%. This does not include their nanoweapon boosts that should have increased Troop ATK, DEF, HP by 219% with just Marlowe and Meyers alone. This formation killed 100k less zombies in the same lair. I had a member send just 1 soldier to the lairs for my tests. I do not understand this. I hosted both lairs. What is the problem here? I have thought that Troop ATK was the same as Troop type (Shooter, rider, fighter) ATK except it worked on all three types. Meyers tactical skill only offers +300% Troop ATK at +4 but even when I tested with just Marlowe and kept Hartwell, my dmg was less.
I am shooter as well. The most important thing is the tactical skill. This is why a 3-star shooter hero at +5 will do better for your shooter rally than a 5-star shooter hero at +4. This is even more true for troop boosting heroes like Meyers, Mars, and Marlowe. I have Mars red star and +5 and he is still weaker than Malcom at +5 and 71. Those heroes won’t replace Malcom in my lineup until they’re +6. Regarding the nanoweapons, all nanoweapon boosts are passive.They are in effect whether those heroes join your rally or not. You get the boosts just by having the weapons equipped. Hope that helps!
