My question is this: if you have a camp parked in an idle spot and you go to another state for Valiant..

My question is this: if you have a camp parked in an idle spot and you go to another state for Valiant or Wasteland, does it remove your camp? I am pretty sure it has removed mine in the past, but I'm not 100% sure.

Yes, when you travel to another state for those events then your original spot is empty.
