During reservoir war and alliance clash, is it better to send 1 troop or a full march when reinforcing..

During reservoir war and alliance clash, is it better to send 1 troop or a full march when reinforcing a building? Do you collect points faster if you send more troops?

You get the same points for 1 or for full troops. If the building is safe then you can just send 1 to leave room for others, but if you are trying to defend it from attack by the enemy then you need to get your best troops in there.
