Why can I only put a certain number of troops in a rally against a zombie lair, same when I'm trying..

Why can I only put a certain number of troops in a rally against a zombie lair, same when I'm trying to do hero form set in the hall of war? For instance I have let's say 60,000 troops I can only dispatch 47,000. I'm still learning but am I missing something.

You will always have a max troop size that is a limit to the number of troops you can send out in any one march.

The limit increases as you upgrade your Headquarters and you can add extra capacity to it through commander talents, research, and some heroes have skills that also increase it.

Check the hero list for those.
