03. Fast Money - As in Getting It!

You know the old saw that it takes money to make money? Well it does - but in this case the money it takes to MAKE money are the funds you have to spend in covering the costs of an invasion. Seriously!

If - no, better make that WHEN - you find yourself needing an infusion of quick gold, chances are that you will find it way easier and more satisfying to simply go out and take the gold from the enemy than you will sitting around waiting for your base to generate the gold.

Before you head out to take over an enemy island or base though, there are a few things you need to remember:

Part of the rewards you can obtain from taking out the enemy island or base is Wood - so you want to make sure that your storage is not already filled to the top, so that when you get the rewards of your invasion you do not end up losing some because of no place to put it.

After your success in taking out the enemy do not just head for the next island or base - go ahead and return to YOUR base first.

Once back at home check your Landing Craft to see if you have lost any men - if so, replenish them at the docks. This will take a small amount of time and some gold, but it will bring your troops back to full invasion strength, which can be crucial depending on the level of enemy you face at the next attack.

You may have completed an Achievement during the last invasion effort and, if so, you may be due some rewards! Remember Achievements in Boom Beach are more than just a way to score some points and show off - they have real resources for rewards.

Sure you originally set off to pick up some fast money, but with your successes comes rewards and you want to be sure that your success has not taken you to the point where you may lose gold by not having the room to store it.

Another point to this is that you should check to see if you have everything you need for the next base upgrade - after all the whole point to this is to obtain the resources and funds required to make your life better - and that means upgrades!

It would be a great idea to tend to the upgrade process between battles.
