I received a treasure box on boom beach and one of the items I already have and can’t use or delete...

I received a treasure box on boom beach and one of the items I already have and can’t use or delete. It upgrades the building treasure. I already am maxed out on all my buildings and players, mines, etc. What can I do? I can’t delete either one and therefore I can no longer get any treasures. Help please

Same thing happened to me. Seems like players who played a lot get penalized. Boom Beach not like it used to be. Any help out there?
