How to become famous

So you want to be a star? Becoming famous in BitLife is an aim for many and a good way to work towards several of the ribbons and achievements available in the game.

There is more than one way to do it but in general you will need to focus on 2 things. Your career will be what you need to work on but to give yourself the most opportunities it is best to start out with a character who is high in the looks rating. When you start your life, if your looks stat is not above 75% then it could be safer to start again.

Early Years Preparation

As an infant there is not much to do but do take opportunity to ask your parents for money to get the ball rolling with some savings for later activities. You should try to maintain a good level of health and happiness so spend time with family members, go to the movies and when you reach the stage that you can go to the gym do that and use the option to meditate as well. This will all contribute to your looks, happiness and health.

Start a social media account. To do this you will need to message someone about BitLife, you can always just message yourself though to avoid annoying anyone. Post a few times a year to start with and try to build.

How well and how quickly your social media following grows is fairly random and you will need to wait until you are fairly famous before your followers start to jump up pretty high, so dont worry about it too much initially. Remember though that after you get at least a few thousand followers it is advisable to apply for verification. This will help boost your fame status.

Education

Try to do well in your school career but you don't need to go on to higher education. It is possible that some community college may help with some future careers but it is not essential.

Jobs

You will initially need to look for a lower ranked job to get you on the road to stardom. These might include Voice actor, or DJ or another entertainment industry position. (A different path but equally viable is working in the porn industry).

These jobs will need to be worked for a few years and will then hopefully provide the opportunities to get a better position. For example the ideal route would lead to an Actor role and then after some years you can become a Lead Actor / Movie Star.

It is at this point that you will gain a Fame Stat and can start performing new activities. You are famous but you have to work on it to do well. Keep pushing on the social media front and as the fame state grows you will get new Fame related activities such as a Photo Shoot or a Talk Show.

Ideally, you will go down the road of an actor and eventually after about ten years or so in an actor role will become a Lead Actor. Once you do this, you will then become a Movie Star and you will get a new percentage bar called "Fame." This shows a percentage just like the rest of your stats, and doing social media posts plus participating in Fame (new activities will show up under this tab) based activities will help grow the percentage. Consider any opportunities to write a book. If it does well it will become a bestseller and give your fame level a good boost.

Staying in the fame game

Its hard work getting to the top and its just as hard staying there. The fame stat can be maintained with your social media (try not to offend anyone) and by appearances on talk shows or commercials. But you also need to keep up the percentages on your other related stats like looks, health and happiness. Visit the gym, go to the salon & spa, and go on a vacation. You should have the money rolling in so be lavish, spoil yourself. If you want to keep up the fame into very old age you can even go as far as surgery. Plastic Surgery or Botox for example.
