Fusion cells how do they work and how long do they last?

Fusion Cell is one of the four support items you get when you play a level. When used they give you an amount of instant energy to build and upgrade towers. Fusion cells however have a long cool down period so use it when it is really necessary or you may miss the chance to use it when needed!
