Added:

Zio and the Magic Scrolls is an idle-RPG game with gacha mechanics where you’ll have to form a team of capable heroes and villains to tackle the various story stages and content the game has to offer. Of course, the game has different modes that you have to tackle regularly in order to gain various resources that you can use in many aspects of the game. In our Demon King Tower Guide, we will cover the basics of this particular Adventure Mode.

Demon King Tower

This mode challenges players to climb up the Demon King’s Tower which is made up of 200 floors with each floor presenting different enemy compositions and restricted heroes. Clearing these floors for the first time will award you with gold, diamonds, and Demon King Tower Coins. These coins can be used to purchase Soul Essences and specific character summon tickets in the Demon King Tower Shop.

You can also passively earn DKT Coins with the help of a friendly demon. Like Bono’s bag, make sure to collect these coins whenever you login to prevent it from maxing out. Once the max capacity has been reached, you’ll temporarily stop earning DKT coins until the chest has been emptied again. If you purchase the Adventure Pass, the chest’s max capacity will be temporarily increased and the acquisition rate will be improved during the Pass’ duration.

Weakening Effect

The ascent to the tower is incredibly challenging so expect to get wiped out every so often. Thankfully, losing the battle is not entirely bad. Once a day, if you lose a battle, the enemy will obtain a Weakening effect that accumulates as you keep losing battles on the same floor. This effect can stack up to 30 levels.

After clearing the floor, the weakening effect is refreshed and you’ll have to face the next floor with the enemies at their default strength. This is a helpful balancing feature since while the enemies get weaker, you’ll have a chance to improve your characters until you can finally clear the floor. Even if you’re not in a hurry to clear the floor, always do battle at least once per day to complete the corresponding daily task.
