Bono’s Bag (AFK Mode)

Zio and the Magic Scrolls is an idle-RPG game with gacha mechanics where you’ll have to form a team of capable heroes and villains to tackle the various story stages and content the game has to offer. In our Bono’s Bag Guide, we will discuss how the game’s AFK reward system works and how to maximize the resources you can get from it.

Zio and the Magic Scrolls features a system that allows you to collect rewards even when you’re not actively playing the game. Bono is the little guy accompanying your party in the Story mode screen. You can find him in the lower-left corner of the screen. To collect the resources he collected, just tap the chest icon above his head then tap Acquire.

Your party’s bag will continuously collect gold, exp potion, user exp, magic crystals, and various loot - as long as it’s not full. This is also where the majority of your resources will come from. Even if you’re not in the mood to play the game, at least log in to quickly clear Bono’s Bag to keep the items coming.

Bono’s default collection rate is acceptable; however, if you want to get the most out of it, we recommend using the “Acquire Now” button, which will let you watch a 20-30 second ad. Doing so will allow you to instantly collect an hour’s worth of collected items. You can do this 5 times a day, with all five chances refreshed as part of the game’s daily scheduled reset. Furthermore, for each ad you watch, you’ll get a stamp that will be recorded in Ellie’s Stamp Book. Getting 25 stamps will allow you to collect 800 free diamonds as a special reward. After collecting the reward, the stamp book will be cleared and you can start collecting stamps again.

For players that have money to spare, they can opt to purchase a 14-day boost/upgrade for Bono’s Bag costing around 7.75 USD which doubles the AFK reward and increases the max capacity of Bono’s bag to +12 hours. Purchasing this 2-week upgrade will also provide 700 Diamonds and x35 Ad Skip (Acquire Now) tickets.
