Hero Relationship

Zio and the Magic Scrolls is an idle-RPG game with gacha mechanics where you’ll have to form a team of capable heroes and villains to tackle the various story stages and content the game has to offer. When playing, you’ll be able to recruit/summon various heroes with different types and specialties. In our Hero Relationship Guide, we will discuss this hidden mechanic that can further enhance certain heroes’ combat prowess.

Certain heroes provide bonuses to all other heroes once you’ve summoned them and added them to your roster. They don’t need to be on the same party; as long as you have them in your roster, the bonuses will apply. You can view these relationships by tapping the Hero menu > then tap the Archive > then the Relationship button in the lower-right corner as shown below.

To explain how this works, let’s use the Steel Rainbow group as an example. By collecting all heroes in this group, the HP+1% bonus will be activated. If all members of this group reach Rank SS, the group will provide +5% HP to all heroes in your roster.

Now that’s only for one group. As you’ve noticed, there are several relationship groups in the list. Each of these groups will provide different stat boosts, as long as you’ve summoned their members. Like the example used above, the stat boosts provided by the groups will increase as long as all members reach certain ranks.

Finally, each group’s stat boosts are stacked. You can review this by tapping the scroll icon in the lower-right corner of the screen. Since Promoting heroes can be resource-extensive, simply summoning the needed heroes to complete their respective groups will provide significant stat boosts to your entire roster.

Here’s the list of Relationship Groups. You can review the required heroes to complete the group by checking the Relationship screen as described above.
