Added:

In Burgle Cats, you’ll need to assemble a crew of cat thieves, each with their own outfit and accessory. Newer (and better) cat types will also have their own skills that you can activate during a burglery to make your attempt easier. To get new cats however, the only way you can do this by catching new cats via the Cat Hunter. In this page, we will discuss how to use this feature so you can get new cats added to your crew!

How to unlock the Cat Hunter

The Cat Hunter is immediately available at the start of the game and will be part of the tutorial. Once available, you can access the Cat Hunter from the main screen, in the lower-middle portion of the screen.

Cat Rarity and Drops

For those who played other mobile games (usually hero collection RPGs), you’ll immediately notice that the game has a Gacha System. In layman’s terms, The Burgle Cats has some sort of lottery system in play when you use the Cat Hunter and every catching attempt will have a random result and does not guarantee a high-rarity cat. There’s also a chance to capture a cat you already own.

Cats are divided into four rarities: Common, Rare, Super Rare, and Uber Rare. The cat’s rarity will usually determine its default stats and skills. Of course, their rarity will also affect the probability of getting them. Here are the chances of getting cats based on their rarity.

Cat Hunt (Standard)

Rarity % Chance
Common 65%
Rare 28%
Super Rare 7%

Rare Hunt (Standard)

Rarity % Chance
Rare 62%
Super Rare 29%
Uber Rare 9%

Rare Hunt (Limited/Event)

Rarity % Chance
Rare 57%
Super Rare 29%
Uber Rare 14%

How to Catch New Cats

When you access the Cat Hunter menu, you’ll find two banners: Standard Hunt and Event. The standard hunt, as the name implies, is the standard / permanent banner. Here, you can use 3 Cat Tickets to pay for 1 Cat Hunt. Cat Tickets can be farmed from Ticket Heists, purchased from the Cat Market, or by completing missions. In Cat Hunt, you have the chance to catch Common, Rare, and Super Rare cats.

Under Standard Hunt still, you can also use 1 Rare Ticket or 150 Cat Food to do a Rare Cat Hunt. If you do 10 Rare Cat Hunts (worth 1500 Cat Food), you’ll get 1 free hunt, giving you 11 Rare Cat Hunt chances. If you have Rare Tickets, it will be prioritized and will be used first before giving you the option to use Cat Food.

In Rare Cat Hunt, you have the chance to catch Rare, Super Rare, and Uber Rare cats. Of course, Rare Tickets and Cat Food are not farmable so this option isn’t always available to players. However, this is one of the ways to get a chance to secure very useful cats and add them to your crew.

Finally, we have the Event banner. This banner will have a duration and will rotate, featuring specific cats that will have a “rate up” or temporary increase chance to get them. This is similar to the Rare Cat Hunt where you’ll need Rare Tickets and Cat Food to do a Rare Cat Hunt. The main difference will be the drop chance.
