Pilot Evolution Guide

Last Updated:

Final Gear is a mech-based strategy gacha RPG boasting a large roster of collectible female pilots and customizable mechs. A mech’s strength is not measured by its base stats and rarity alone; the strength of the one piloting it significantly matters as well. In our Pilot Evolution Guide, we will discuss how this feature will help you improve the grade of your favorite pilots, increasing their overall combat capability.

In a gacha game, not all characters are created equal. The same statement is true with Final Gear, with the top-tier pilots being SSRs, with the exception of a handful of low-grade pilots providing much utility that makes them deserving to be part of the top tier. This process is highly recommended for top-tier R and SR units like Solveig and Shmily.

Pilot Evolution is a process where you can promote a character to a higher grade. As of the moment, the highest grade in the game for now is SSR so N, R, and SR pilots can be evolved up to SSR grade. Pilot Evolution is not available for SSR units for now.

Every time you evolve a unit, all of the pilot’s stats will be increased. These stat boosts are permanent and will help make your pilot even more combat-capable. There will be no changes in the character’s skills or skill levels. You’ll need a huge amount of gold and the character’s Evolution pieces to complete the process. Evolution pieces can be purchased at the Live Combat Data Shop using Live Combat Data that you can earn from completing Conflict Zone battles.

Due to the required number of resources to evolve a pilot, only consider evolving pilots that you’ll be using a lot or non-SSR pilots that you like.
