Pilot Logistics Skills Guide
More Final Gear
Final Gear is a mech-based strategy gacha RPG boasting a large roster of collectible female pilots and customizable mechs. Pilots aside, players also have to upgrade and maintain Mechs that pilots use in combat. Final Gear’s resource management feature (Felix) allows you to obtain permanent upgrades and improvements for your mechs, pilots, and other important aspects of the game. The core drivers of this feature are also your pilots - that’s where their Logistics skills come in. In this guide, we will discuss the Logistic Skill Trees available on pilots and how you can use this feature to further improve the resource management of your home base.
As the pilot increases her Trait level, her Logistics skills will level up or even unlock new skills, allowing them to provide buffs or additional rewards from expeditions or working in Felix’s facilities. You can check a pilot’s Logistics Skill tree by tapping the Felix icon on the left side of the pilot information screen.
A Pilot can only equip four Logistic Skills at a time. If the pilot has access to more than 4 logistics skills, you can change which skills to equip by tapping the Logistics Skills. Changing these skills will consume a Basic Operation Model - a handbook that’s automatically given to pilots assigned to Felix.
Various facilities in Felix have specific pilot trait requirements. This can be one of the following: Crafting, Dexterity, Wisdom, Physique, and Emotion. When assigned to work, a pilot’s Vitality will be spent as she’s earning trait EXP. Whenever you assign a pilot with the required trait into the room, the pilot gains extra trait EXP (Example: assigning a Dexterity Pilot to the Recycling Room) You can still assign pilots with different traits from the facility’s recommended trait though the trait EXP the pilot receives will be lesser. You can use the Room Overview function to easily view all rooms and the assigned pilots.
For starters, it’s better to assign the pilots to the rooms where they can earn bonus trait EXP until they max out their logistics skills there. After that, you’re free to assign them to other rooms so they can unlock additional skills. There’s no quick way of improving their trait EXP faster since you’ll need to let them work regularly and even then, you still need to let them rest to recover their vitality. This is a long-term process with results that you can’t see immediately. Nevertheless, the feature is very helpful for players who will be investing a lot of time in the game and while using the home base.
