Felix (Homebase) Tech Development Guide

Final Gear is a mech-based strategy gacha RPG boasting a large roster of collectible female pilots and customizable mechs. Pilots aside, players also have to upgrade and maintain Mechs that pilots use in combat. Aside from the normal and even combat missions, Final Gear also has a resource management feature that will allow you to obtain permanent upgrades and improvements for your mechs, pilots, and other important aspects of the game. You can enable permanent upgrades through the Felix’s Tech Development feature. In this guide, we will provide the basics of the Felix’s Tech Developmentand how to take advantage of it to get the most out of this feature.

Tech Development can be accessed from the Felix’s main screen and has three categories: Common, Battle Prep, and Facility. All facilities will require Tech Cores, Polymer Mods, and Honed Tech Cores. However, the Polymer Mods will differ from each category as listed below:

* Common Tech Tree: Common Polymer Mod

* Battle Prep Tech Tree: Combat Prep Polymer Mod

* Facility Tech Tree: Facility Polymer Mod

Tech Cores, Polymer Mods, and Honed Tech Cores are manufactured in the Research Lab facility. Each upgrade node can be upgraded to LV5; the amount of tech cores and polymer mods required for each upgrade will incrementally increase as well. All upgrades are available by default though you’ll need to increase your Bridge Level to be able to enable them. You’ll be able to view the individual description of the upgrades from the Tech Development screen.

You should start investing in Tech Development as soon as you’re able to. The tech cores and polymer mods have no other use outside Tech Development anyway so there’s really no use in keeping them in your inventory for long. If you can't decide which upgrades to get first, focus on the upgrades that will apply passive bonuses to your mechs, pilots, and facilities.
