Do I need to spend money to have better gameplay experience?

Monetary transactions in the game are strictly optional. The game isn’t paywalled or pay-to-win as you can play and clear most of the content without spending anything. However, if you have money to spare and/or if you want to support the developers, there is good stuff waiting for spenders.
