You’ll start off with a reliable set of heroes upon starting the game but if you’re serious about PvP or just want to have a powerful team to tackle quests, you’ll need to draw new heroes. This can be done using Diamonds or Draw Tickets.

Summoning New Heroes
The heroes you can get from draws are completely random. For example, the rates for starting SSR grade heroes is just 3%, with some specific characters having only 0.14% chance of appearing, as shown below.

Diamonds is the premium currency of the game. You’ll obtain them for completing certain quests for the first time, including main quests and limited event quests. However, the main source of getting diamonds is through RMT (real money transaction). 1 Draw costs 3 diamonds but if you have 30 diamonds, you can do a bulk summon which will give you 11 draws (basically +1 free draw). This is a recommended method to get the most out of your draws.

Draw tickets, on the other hand, can be acquired as quest or daily login rewards. There are certain draw tickets that you can get through various means in the game as reward, including specific ones that let you draw a SR or even SSR ticket. There are also some normal draw tickets that you can purchase from the Coin Shop.

The available heroes you can get will depend on the banner where you attempted to draw. There are normal/permanent banners and limited banners. Limited event banners have an end date in which the characters available for that banner will become unavailable. (until the devs rerun the event or include the limited characters to the normal banner) You can also get a free draw in the normal banner by viewing an ad.

So, which Coin Shop Heroes should I get first?

Whenever you get another copy of a character you already unlocked, it will automatically turn into a coin of the corresponding grade. SSR characters turn into Platinum Coins, SR into Gold Coins, and R heroes into Silver Coins. If you access the Coin Shop, you’ll see the various categories. Here, you can exchange the excess Coins to get new characters.

The Platinum category has some of the most powerful units in the game (as listed below). The normal exchange rate is 7 Platinum Coins for an SSR Character of your choice but we suggest watching out for the Limited Time Sale characters since they are rotated regularly. Limited Sale characters only cost 5 Platinum Coins. Since SSR duplicates are hard to come by, we suggest trading only the Platinum Coins to get the high-tier SSR units available; otherwise, use these coins to power up the Ultimate Moves of specific characters.

The Gold category is a lot more forgiving since if you managed to regularly pull 11-draws whenever you can, chances are you’ll have a lot of gold coins lying around and more so that you have a lot of duplicates of SR characters you’re not going to use. There are some very good SSR units and other valuable items here. SSR Units costs 30 gold coins to trade but there’s also a weekly rotating sale which cuts down the cost to 20 gold coins.

Finally, we have the Silver Category. There’s no SSR units here and the majority of SR units are negligible anyway. Consider buying limited sale characters of specific useful (albeit limited) characters like Gilthunder or consumable items if you’re in desperate need of them.
