Red Demon Raid Team

Death Match is the content where you have to repel a powerful boss that invades a village. Every time you clear the optional Boss Battle dungeons, the probability of a Death Match boss to appear increases. Up to 2 players can play together in real time, including an AI player if it’s available. You can trigger a Death Match battle once per chapter, once a day. Death Match bosses are worth doing because they’re the only reliable source of Limit Break materials.

The Red Demon is the first Death Match boss that will be introduced to you. At 80,000 CC, this monstrosity is nothing to scoff at. In this page, we will discuss how to deal with this powerful demon by knowing its weaknesses and who to bring in your team.

Red Demon Strategy Notes:

* This boss is a Strength attribute enemy. Use of Speed attribute heroes is recommended.

* Boss lacks CC immunity meaning you can lock it using Petrify, Stun, or Freeze effects.

* When it uses its Hell Protect stance, it will decrease incoming damage by 30%

Recommended Characters:

* [OUTLAW] Ban is ideal since he’s a Speed attribute and also has the plot-related, permanent Strong modifier. This reduces the Red Demon’s damage to him by 30%

* [THE GRIZZLY SIN OF SLOTH] King the Fairy King is ideal, thanks to his access to debuff removal to deal with the demon’s Ignite status effect, heal, and Petrify, on top of being a Speed attribute character. He’s pretty much a staple character for this raid. Best of all, he’s a story related character!

* [OVERPOWER] Slater ‘s second skill is the perfect counter to remove the demon’s Hell Protect stance and prevent it from being used for at least a turn.

* [KNIGHT OF ICE] Gustav may be a SR character and an HP-attribute hero at that but you can rely on his second skill’s Freeze effect to help lock down the demon.

* [MOBILE TAVERN] Hawk & Elizabeth is an alternative for [OVERPOWER] Slater thanks to their ultimate that also cancels the Demon’s stance.

* [BURNING EMBER] Knight of Danafor Cain is another SR character that’s a great addition to your anti-Red Demon team, provided that you have unlocked his Unique effect “Extreme Counter”. (Increases all allies' Attack-related stats by 10% in Death Match.)

You should be able to secure at least one of the recommended characters early in the game. You can fill in the other slots with other Speed attribute heroes, just make sure that your team has a way to deal with the Red Demon’s notable strengths and weaknesses. You can also consider applying appropriate food buffs, like those that increase attack and defense.
