Whenever you get another copy of a character you already unlocked, it will automatically turn into a coin of the corresponding grade. SSR characters turn into Platinum Coins, SR into Gold Coins, and R heroes into Silver Coins. If you access the Coin Shop, you’ll see the various categories. Here, you can exchange the excess Coins to get new characters.

The Platinum category has some of the most powerful units in the game (as listed below). The normal exchange rate is 7 Platinum Coins for an SSR Character of your choice but we suggest watching out for the Limited Time Sale characters since they are rotated regularly. Limited Sale characters only cost 5 Platinum Coins. Since SSR duplicates are hard to come by, we suggest trading only the Platinum Coins to get the high-tier SSR units available; otherwise, use these coins to power up the Ultimate Moves of specific characters.

The Gold category is a lot more forgiving since if you managed to regularly pull 11-draws whenever you can, chances are you’ll have a lot of gold coins lying around and more so that you have a lot of duplicates of SR characters you’re not going to use. There are some very good SSR units and other valuable items here. SSR Units costs 30 gold coins to trade but there’s also a weekly rotating sale which cuts down the cost to 20 gold coins.

Finally, we have the Silver Category. There’s no SSR units here and the majority of SR units are negligible anyway. Consider buying limited sale characters of specific useful (albeit limited) characters like Gilthunder or consumable items if you’re in desperate need of them.
