Stats, Combat Class, and Attributes
More The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross
Combat Class and Stats work hand-in-hand; as you increase your stats, you also increase your hero's and party's Combat Class. While these values are not constant, hero attributes are permanent. Their attribute (color) determines their strength and weakness to other attributes. In this page, we will learn more about these topics and how important they are in gameplay.
Combat Class
Combat Class (CC) represents the hero or party’s overall combat prowess. The higher the combat class, the more powerful the hero or party is. This is usually used as a benchmark whether your hero or party is powerful enough to tackle opponents. When fighting battles in Auto mode (e.g. farming in SP dungeons), it’s recommended to have at least 10K CC more than your enemies to comfortably win without worries. Combat Class is also used as a requirement for heroes to learn/unlock their unique abilities.Powering up a hero is somewhat tedious, especially for higher grade characters and high-leveled processes like Awakening and Limit Breaking. However, these methods are the only way to make your heroes more powerful and unleash their full potential.
There are several ways to increase a hero’s CC, as listed below:
* Leveling up
* Evolving (increasing the grade)
* Enhancing and awakening equipment and accessories
Stats
Improving your hero’s stats also increases his/her Combat Class. There are also skill effects that directly and temporarily modify these values during combat. Here is the list of stats in the game and what they mean.Stat | Description |
---|---|
Attack | Increases your hero’s damage output |
Defense | Reduces damage taken from attacks |
HP | Health pool |
Penetration | Increases damage dealt through an opponent’s resistance stat |
Resistance | Reduces damage taken from penetration attacks |
Regeneration | Increases the amount of HP replenished every turn. |
Crit Rate | Increases the chance to trigger a critical hit. |
Crit Damage | Increases damage dealt by critical hits. |
Crit Resistance | Reduces chances of receiving an enemy’s critical hit. |
Crit Defense | Reduces damage from critical hits. |
Recovery Rate | Increases amount of HP healed from skills. |
Lifesteal | Converts damage dealt to enemies into the hero’s health. |
Hero Attributes
There are three attributes in the game used to classify heroes: Speed (Blue), Strength (Red), and HP (Green). When searching for resources about the game, you may encounter the use of colors to distinguish various versions of the same character. However, these attributes have direct influence in combat in the form of attribute advantage/ disadvantage.You may consider these attributes to form some kind of triangle. To make it easier to understand, let’s use sample situations below:
1. Red hero will deal more damage to the green hero.
2. Red hero will suffer less damage from the green hero.
3. Red hero will inflict and receive normal damage from/to another red hero.
