More The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross
If you equip a certain number of equipment pieces bearing the same icon (look at the upper-right corner of the equipment icon), you’ll activate a Set Bonus. Fortunately, the game is flexible enough not to specify which pieces to count for the bonus. When you tap an equipment, you’ll immediately see if that piece is part of either a 2 Set or a 4 Set, as well as what type of bonus effect will be activated.
A character can have a 4-set and 2-set combo at the same time. (Three 2-sets should they fancy it) In the example screenshot below, we have Concentration 4-set (belt, ring, earring, and rune) which gives the wearer +30% Crit Chance. At the same time, there’s a Iron Wall 2-set (bracelet and necklace) that gives the character +20% Defense. These bonuses are something that you should look out for when giving equipment pieces to your main characters.
It’s ideal to choose the optimal set for the character to maximize the set bonuses effect. For example, a 4-set attack (Attack +20%) and 2-set defense is recommended for attackers. Dedicated healers can go with 4-set Attack and 2-set Recovery Rate (+20%). Tanky characters can go with a 4-set HP (+20%) and 2-set defense. Feel free to experiment which sets will work on your main party. Don’t forget that you can also use the Exchange Equipment function if you want to swap out entire sets between characters.
Here are the different type of equipment sets:

---|---|---|
Attack | 4 | +20% |
Crit Chance | 4 | +30% |
HP | 4 | +20% HP |
Crit Damage | 2 | +20% |
Crit Defense | 2 | +40% |
Crit Resistance | 2 | +30% |
Defense | 2 | +20% |
Lifesteal | 2 | +15% |
Recovery Rate | 2 | +20% |
