What is the tavern?

This serves as your home base where you can do various activities and meet up with characters. You’ll start off originally with Meliodas, Elizabeth, and Hawk but as you progress with the story and recruit the other members of the Seven Deadly Sins crew, you’ll eventually unlock more features in the game through interactions with them.

Depending on the region where the tavern has set camp, some characters may even drop in for a drink. Talking to them will allow you to open up speech bubbles and select your response. Their affinity will increase depending on your dialogue choice. The same mechanic applies to your crew members.

Here you can do the following activities:

Crew and Customer Interaction

Talk with your crew members, increase their affinity through dialogue choices and/or gifts, and even change their outfits while inside the tavern (yes, that even includes Hawk). Elizabeth will also welcome you whenever you log back into the game and hand you the daily login/event login rewards.

Tavern Visitors

If you interact with the guest list near the tavern’s door, you’ll be able to see the Visitor List. This is the list of guests who made reservations to visit the Boar Hat tavern. If you interacted with them properly, you’ll earn affection points, special buffs, and even return presents. Tavern will receive up to 4 visitors a day, one in the following time slots:

* 08:00-12:00

* 12:00-16:00

* 16:00-20:00

* 20:00-00:00

The visitors are randomly decided and the same visitors can visit on consecutive or two different time slots. As you progress with the story, the number of possible visitors will increase as well. You can freely change a visitor once a day; further changes will require a Diamond each. After the reservation time has passed, the change button is disabled and you won’t be able to change the guest.

Veronica is a special guest that can give you buffs and rewards. Once she’s in the tavern, give her a gift to get a reward and the buff that increases the selling price by 20% for a limited time.

Maintenance

As the tavern master, Meliodas can do the following and increase his affinity points:

* Collect Vanya Ale from the barrel. This can be gifted to other characters for affinity boost.

* Serve beer to the occupied table

* Clean the empty tables

* Change the background music through the Jukebox.

* Eat a cooked dish on an empty table.

Cooking

Until you get Ban, Meliodas will take care of the cooking. Once Ban has joined, he’ll be able to unlock better dishes. Food can be eaten prior to battle to have buffs activated for the duration of that battle, given to certain NPCs to increase their Affinity, and even set on the tavern’s tables as passive income. Please refer to our guide’s dedicated pages for the recipes and how food can be used to earn gold passively.

Salvage Equipment

This option becomes available once Diane joins the crew. This will allow you to destroy unwanted equipment and convert them to Enhance Stones and Awakening Stones. These consumables are needed to enhance or awaken your other equipment. You can salvage up to 12 equipment pieces.

Redecorate

You can change your tavern’s furniture and appearance by applying SR or SSR parts. Default SR parts can be bought with Diamonds while there are event-exclusive SSR parts that can be applied as well. These better-quality parts provide passive effects as long as their appearance and effects are applied. Access this option by talking to Hawk or tapping the Decorate button on the lower-left corner of the screen.

Register Recipes

This option becomes available automatically as you progress in the story. Here, you can assign recipes you’ve learned and set it on the tables to passively earn gold over time. These gold are not automatically added to your total; you have to press the “Calculate Sales” button in the lower-left corner of the screen or talk to Hawk directly.

You can only assign recipes on three tables at first but you can unlock two more tables if you increase Hawk’s affinity. The recipes will have different earning potential and you can’t assign the same recipe on different tables.

Exchange Materials

This option becomes available once King joins the crew. This will allow you to convert your plentiful materials to the materials or grades you need.

* Higher Exchange - Trade lower-grade materials to higher grade ones

* Lower Exchange - Convert high-grade materials to lower grade ones

* Equivalent Exchange - Convert the material’s attribute to a different one.
