Each region (Chapter) has a central village that will serve as a hub where you can accept villager quests, visit merchants/shops, interact with other characters, and more. You can freely control the selected active character while in the village.

Friendship Level

You can increase your friendship level with a village by completing various quests from the locals or donating. Higher friendship levels has the following benefits:

* Opens up more shops

* Enables higher level quests (better rewards)

* Opened shops will offer more items (including rare and higher grade items) for sale

* Donations will trigger Donation Events and apply discount buffs

Villager Quests

A lot of the villagers will sometimes ask you to complete quests for them. Usually, these are Free Quests that you can do to complete one of the Daily Tasks so you’re basically tackling two birds in one stone. Completing these quests not only award you with gold and resources, but also Friendship points with the village.

Materials Shop

Unlocked at Friendship LV1, the Materials Shop will sell cooking ingredients, dishes, and awakening materials for Gold. As you increase your village friendship level, this shop will sell more items to you. The goods sold change after a certain amount of time. You can spend a diamond to refresh the shop’s inventory manually.

Equipment Shop

At Village Friendship LV2, you’ll be able to unlock this shop. You can buy a variety of equipment here for gold. There are different equipment sets here according to the village. At Friendship LV5, you can even buy SSR equipment from this shop.

Pop-up Shop

At Village Friendship LV3, the rare Pop-up Merchant will appear randomly in one of the villages you have unlocked. She appears 8 times a day and will stay there for an hour. After the shop is closed, there’s a 2-hour cooldown before she appears again. This shop specializes in special items that you can’t find anywhere else. Be warned though, her wares are not cheap!

Village Donations

At Village Friendship LV4, you can start donating to the village coffers. This will increase your friendship with the village faster. Once you’ve maxed out the village friendship, you’ll have a permanent 20% discount on all shops in the village.

Village Visitor

These are characters with ties to the village, which you’ll normally encounter during story quests involving the village itself. Aside from being able to interact with them and give them gifts to increase their affinity, they will also sometimes give you special quests that award you with diamonds so check them out whenever you have the chance!
