A Tier Heroes are no pushovers. They're still exceptional and will secure victories for you but careful team consideration about the team compositions is highly recommended. Here are some of the great A-tier heroes you can get to your team.

[THE FOX SIN OF GREED] Adventurer Ban

A Tier Heroes

Ban is a new entry to the A-Tier and seems to be a reliable AoE DPS character. However, his Extort ability makes him an ideal PvP staple as well. Let’s start off with his unique skill, “Extort Life”. This decreases all enemies' HP-related stats by 10% at the start of the next turn if the hero doesn't take damage. This effect can be stacked up to 5 times and will reset if Ban takes damage. Even with the default effect active, it can be detrimental to the enemy team when Ban applies the effects of his other skills.

His first skill, Drain, deals damage to all enemies. At SR2 and SR3, this attack gains the Lifesteal ability which heals Ban equal to 30% of the damage he dealt. The second skill, Snatch, is the main selling of this version of Ban. This skill has the Extort effect, which decreases the target’s stats and adds it to the user by the same amount. At SR1, Snatch Extorts 20% Attack and Defense from ALL enemies for 2 turns. At SR2, this increases to 30%, and by SR3, this is increased to 50% for 3 turns. This skill is extremely effective especially if Ban has allies who can remove buffs and/or exploit the weakened enemies through heavy damage.

Ban’s ultimate, Fox Hunt deals heavy damage to a single target and Extorts 50% Atk and Def for 2 turns. If he has Jericho as an associated ally, this will change to the combined attack Fake Strike which deals higher damage to a single target with the same Extort effect and duration. Jericho further increases Ban’s attack rating as well as a partner, making their pair a lot more desirable when you have Ban deployed.

[THE SERPENT SIN OF ENVY] Holy Knight Diane

A Tier Heroes

Diane is a free SSR unit that you can get by completing story quests in Chapter 4. She'll also be fully maxed out so you just need to Evolve and Awaken her to make her stronger. She’s quite a reliable AoE DPS unit that you can add to your team, especially if you’re lacking any high tier characters. Her unique skill, Giant’s Will increases her attack by 6% at the end of every turn, up to 5 times.

Her first skill, Rush Rock, is single-target only but once it reaches SR2, it can disable the target’s attack skills by 1 turn. At SR3 this disable attack effect can last by 2 turns. Ground Gladius is Diane’s AoE attack skill, which also has the Rupture effect. This deals twice the damage to buffed enemies.

Diane’s ultimate, Mother Earth Catastrophe, deals high damage to all enemies with no additional effects. When associated with Griamore, this will turn into the combined attack, Full Swing Impact, which will deal higher damage to all enemies than Diane’s default ultimate.

[FOREST GUARDIAN] King the Fairy King

A Tier Heroes

Forest Guardian (Green) King is focused on the offensive and highly desirable primarily for his viability in Grey Demon raids. However, he can be useful in other team compositions and uses, provided that you use his skills at the right target and timing. His unique skill, Magic Control, is not something to be scoffed at. This increases Crit Chance by 10% per each Ultimate Move Gauge orb. Increases by an additional 50% if it is completely filled, for a whopping amount of potential damage.

His first skill, Spirit Spear Chastiefol, First Form: Chastiefol, is a single-target attack that has high damage and the Spike effect (x2 Crit Damage increase). This attack can be potentially dangerous especially when used while King’s unique effect is at its peak.

King’s second skill, Poisoning Garden, inflicts Ruin damage to a single target. Ruin increases the damage dealt by 30% per debuff on the target while also removing debuffs. This might be counter-productive but a reasonable compromise nonetheless.

King’s ultimate, Spirit Spear Chastiefol, Fourth Form: Sunflower, deals Shatter (ignores resistance) damage to all enemies. When partnered up with Diane, this changes to Cross Shooting which deals even greater Shatter damage to all enemies.

[THE DRAGON SIN OF WRATH] Demon Meliodas

A Tier Heroes

Demon Meliodas is a DPS unit that focuses on dealing high damage to single targets. However, preparation through the debuffs applied by his two skills is necessary. His unique skill, Wrath, increases Crit Chance by 50% for each dead ally. Thanks to this effect, if ever the party has at least 2 allies down, this hero will be capable of dealing 100% criticals for every attack.

His first skill, Hellfire, deals damage and inflicts Ignite on the target. Ignite increases the damage taken by the target by 10%. Furthermore, this effect can be stacked multiple times. At higher skill ranks, Hellfire’s ignite can last up to 5 turns. His second skill, Blaze Burst, also deals damage to a single target, inflicting it with the Infect effect (at SR2 and SR3) as well. This restricts recovery-related stats.

His ultimate, Hell Buster, inflicts Weak Point (x3 damage against debuffed enemies) damage to a single target. Since his two attack skills can inflict debuffs, you’re almost always guaranteed to take advantage of this ultimate’s effect. If Merlin is partnered with this hero, the ultimate will change into the combined attack Devil Assault, which increases the base damage percentage and enabling even more damage with the Weak Point effect. Merlin also increases Meliodas’ critical rate by around 19% through associate effect.

[CHAMPION] Ranger Griamore

A Tier Heroes

Griamore is an SR character who’s one of the very select characters who can raise a protective barrier to protect allies. However in most instances, you won’t be able to take advantage of his unique skill, Champion's Dignity, (Increases all allies' HP-related stats by 15% in PvP) unless you're including him to your PVP team.

His first skill, Burning Strike, doesn’t have any additional effects but can deal decent damage. However, there’s a significant jump in damage (360% vs 600%) if you ever managed to use this skill at SR3. His second skill, simply called Wall, applies a barrier to all allies for 2 turns. The amount of damage this barrier can absorb will depend on Griamore’s attack rating.

Griamore’s ultimate, Panic Room, decent damage to all enemies while also lowering their attack-related stats (attack, pierce rate, crit chance, and crit damage) by 30% for 3 turns. Griamore doesn’t have a combined attack with anyone but has three good associated effects with Dreyfus, Gilthunder, and Howzer.
