PVP Mode
Your first taste of PvP will become available after unlocking the Vaizel Fight Festival stage in Chapter 4. The game offers two PvP modes: Equipment Stats Applied or Equipment Stats not Applied. To participate, you have to use Fight Festival Entry Tickets. These are fully replenished after the daily reset.Similar to other games’ PvP formats, you’ll have a ladder system which you can climb in rankings by winning matches. You’ll receive Festival Points for winning and lose some by losing. (Take note that disconnection from a match is an automatic loss)
You will be promoted upon reaching the starting score of the next division. Promotion Matches may be needed to from one division to the next tier. These matches are decided by the best 2 of 3. Winning these two matches will promote you to the next tier. If your Festival Points dips below the division’s starting score, you will be demoted to the previous tier. However, you can’t be demoted further than the lowest tier.
Recommended PvP Teams
These are some of the straightforward PvP setups but do note that the game has no such thing as an unbeatable team. Though there are several factors that need to be taken into consideration like if the combatants are fully limit-broken, enhanced, awakened, or their ultimate move enhanced. The characters’ Unique Effects, attributes, and skill sets can also affect the overall synergy. As such, PvP setups are usually experimental but there are unarguably best suited characters in PvP. If you’re aiming to dominate PvP, you’re pretty much required to get the best, god-tier characters in the game (we’re looking at you, Gowther and Escanor). Here are some of the PvP character recommendations. You can play around with the combinations and even swap a character out but having at least two of these characters in the team (especially on the top row) can bring wonders. As you’ve also noticed, the Sub characters are pretty consistent, primarily for their PVP-focused Unique effects.
Recommended Dishes for PvP
Like other battles, you can eat a cooked dish beforehand to get buffs before a match. There’s a lot of dishes available in the game but only a few are needed to give you a much needed boost in PvP.
