Lost Lands 8 - Part 17

This is our walkthrough for Part 17 of Lost Lands 8 Sand Captivity, an mystery puzzle game from Five-BN games. In Part 16 we explored the temple to find out about the curse, then summoned the spirit who has told us how to lift the curse.

Remove the Shackles

Return to the Hall in the Cave (Karemos Desert).

Now view the large doors at the end. Place the key that you received in the center and the doors will open.

Go through to the Tomb.

Collection Item: A boot on the ground on the right between the panels with green and red.

Morphing Object: the third stone face at the top of the columns on the top left of the scene.

Tap to view the control block with the yellow light. Collect from the foot of it the 'Great Metronome' Figure.

Now back out to the hall and tap in the center of the compass circle to find a puzzle board.

Add the 3 figures that you have to it, then also stand up the 3 other figures that are lying down / upside down. There are 7 figures in all.

To complete this puzzle you need to move the 7 figures to place them and match the map that you saw earlier. This is in the tent, outside the cave entrance.

Once done you can collect a skull from the platform that rises up.

Return to the Tomb room and view the yellow block again. Add the skull to the center.

This will activate a puzzle.

Once you complete this yellow puzzle the green block puzzle will open up. An hourglass timer will also start for the yellow puzzle. If the yellow timer runs out you will need to repeat the puzzle.

Completing the green puzzle will activate the blue puzzle and a timer, and then the blue puzzle will activate the red puzzle. Each will have a timer and if they run out while you are completing other puzzles you will need to do them again. They are the same each time though so you can learn them and complete them quickly.

Yellow

Move the red blocks that have laser lines emitting from them around the board so that all of the blue blocks are lit up by the lasers.

Green

You need to set all of the tiles lights on. Tapping a tile will change it and all those touching it.

Blue

Slide the colored chips around the board to place them on the matching squares.

Red

Move the trains of snakes around the board to completely cover only the yellow squares.

Once you complete all 4 puzzles without the timers running out the protection for the body will be removed and it will fall to the ground.

View the body, Kiana will notice that the notch in the shackles is the same as her amulet.

You will then receive the amulet.

Add this to the shackles and they will be removed.

Close the view from this point and a cut scene will start where you will collect the Shackles, but receive the curse.

The cut scene continues and you return to the Ritual hall and complete the magic to lift the curse.

That is the end of the main game. You will unlock the bonus chapter if you want to play that.
