Lost Lands 8 - Part 15

This is our walkthrough for Part 15 of Lost Lands 8 Sand Captivity, an mystery puzzle game from Five-BN games. In Part 14 we forged a Ritual Arrow which has allowed Ziruk the Centaur Chief to raise his ancestral city from the desert sand, Karemos. The temple that lies there should hold the information we need to fix the curse.

Explore the Temple

First we need to get into the temple which is at the top of the pyramid.

Collection Item: a large hourglass on the pyramid to the right of the steps.

First view the wall fresco at the base of the pyramid, notice there are some sections missing.

Collect an odd shaped key from the bottom right.

Now view the large door on the building to the right of the pyramid.

Use the key to open it and go inside.

This is a hidden object scene. There are 16 items to find.

Weight from scales (4)

There are 3 visible in the main scene.

Then 1 more is found by looking in the barrel bottom center.

Harpoon

With some other weapons to the left of the barrel

Bow

On a box on the lower left

Shield

Leaning on the box on the lower left.

Tambourine

Hanging on the wall top center.

Sickle

Hanging on the rack top left of the scene.

Scorpion

On the post by the left window.

Boomerang

Also on the same post above the scorpion.

Lamp

Tap the curtain (twice) over the shelves on the left wall to open it. Find the Lamp.

Flask

On the same shelves at the bottom.

Ring

Just below the left window is a scale. View this, then place all of the 8 weights (4 on each side ) to balance it out. Once done the drawer will open and you can collect the ring.

Comb

Inside the drawer above there is also a paper with a clue. View this and note the order of the symbols.

Now tap to view a box on the middle shelf on the right side of the room. It has the same symbols.

Tap the buttons on the box in the same order to open it. Collect the comb from inside.

Horse Tail

Open the shutter of the window on the right. You will see a key hanging.

Select the key and then tap on the chest below the window to open it.

View the Manuscript then collect the horse tail.

Now back outside tap on the path to the right of the building leading into the desert.

Collection item: an hourglass on the rocks to the left of the whirlwind.

Morphing Object: watermelon / cactus ball on the ground to the lower right.

Tap on the dead trees to the left of the whirlwind to view them

Use the ax here to cut them away and collect a 'Bundle'.

Next tap in the sand in front of the trees, bottom center of the scene.

Tap to move the sand away and you can collect a stone 'Bow'.

You can move more sand away to find a puzzle but we cannot complete it yet.

Now tap the entrance to the tent on the right to look inside.

View the Manuscript on the table. Then tap the bundle that is underneath to open it.

Collect a piece called 'Stronghold of the five worlds'. Then also a stone Headdress. There is also a map you can view.

Exit the tent and now tap the dessert to the far left to view a large skeleton in the sand.

Collect the Ritual Knife from it (1 of 3)

View the Bundle that you have in your inventory. Then use the dagger on it to cut it open.

Collect the second ritual knife from inside and a stone breastplate.

Now return to the front of the pyramid and view the fresco again.

Add the horse tail, box, headdress and breast plate to it.

You will now see one of the 2 pillars in front of the pyramid lift up. Tap to view it, and you will find a puzzle.

Left pillar 1

The object of the puzzle is to use the arrow controls for the 4 sliding bars to move the heads and drop them onto the correct colored body. Check the video below for a solution.

Once done the other pillar will rise up and you can view it for a different puzzle.

To solve this puzzle you need to rearrange the blocks to make path for the ball from the entrance (right) to the exit (left). You do not need to use all of the blocks as long as there is a path for the ball. Some blocks are fixed in place.

Once done the left pillar will rise again and you will find another puzzle.

Once these are complete the lower steps of the pyramid will appear which will allow you to to enter the temple at the top.
