Bonus Chapter - Part 2

This is our walkthrough for the Bonus Chapter of Lost Lands 8 Sand Captivity, an mystery puzzle game from Five-BN games. You will gain access to the Bonus Chapter after you complete the main game.

In the bonus chapter you will play as Kiana the granddaughter who ha ventured into the Lost Lands for the first time via the portal left open by Susan.

This is the second part, in Bonus Chapter Page 1 we found our way to a cave, but have been captured by Toto the Troll who want to play with us, but that didn't end well for the last person he captured so we need to escape from the cell.

First tap to view the door with the padlock. Collect the rope from the lower left.

Next view the box on the pile of items on the right.

Collect a key from the left side. and the candle (Gem in wax) from the right. Now view the small hole in the cage on the lower right.

Collect the sign post from the floor, then collect the Fork that is underneath it. We also need the box in the distance but we cannot reach it yet.

On the left of the scene is a birdhouse, tap this to collect a Flint that is hanging from it. Than tap on the squirrel mechanism on the top left.

Collect a second sign plate from the right. Then use the Fork on the box that was behind the sign plate, it will remove a nail and then you can collect a magnet from the hole in the box.

Next use the key on the front of the Squirrel mechanism. They will move and break the nut revealing a gem to collect.

Then finally tap on the small cloth to the right of the squirrels and it will roll up for you to collect as a wick.

Now return to the hole in the cage on the right. Use the magnet on the right side of the bars and it will stick there.

You can then use the rope on the magnet and it will be tied on. Take this and use it on the box to pull the box towards you.

You can now open the box. Inside is the equipment for melting wax.

Assemble it by selecting the base on the left, then the 2 items on the right and then the plate from the top.

Then add the Wick and the Flint to light it. Then finally add the wax so that it melts.

You can then collect the second green gem. Go back to the view of the box on top of the pile on the right.

Add the 2 green gems to the opt and it will open, you can then collect a flask of acid.

Return to the door and use the acid on the padlock. it will open the door.

Exit the cage. You will receive the sign plates.

Then collect again the bucket that is on the ground on the left. View the large pot again and use the bucket to get water.

Now back up to exit the cave.

View the winch on the lower right again and use the bucket of water to wash off the sand.

Then tap it to lower the cage on the left.

View the cage and use the key to open it.

Collect from the skeleton the pick, and then tap the hands to collect a paper with a clue.

Now back up to the sign post tree and you can now replace the wrong signs with the correct ones that you have collected. When you do this a hole opens and you can collect a Vane.

Now view the wall on the right again with the grind stone and use the pick to knock it down.

Follow this path to the gate to Pumpkinton.

Collection Item : on the ground by the right gate pillar.

View the sign post on the left, then collect from it a stained glass piece.

Then tap the ground on the left where there is a ladder laying down.

First view the note on the paper on the left to see the instructions for opening the gate.

From this same area collect the Stained glass piece on the top left and then use the knife on the roots covering the ladder to free it.

Tap the ladder to place it up on the pillar. Then tap at the top of the pillar to climb the ladder.

Collect a second Guide Disc from the top and then place the Vane that you have up there. Next you need to use the Storm Whirligig on the gate pillars and it will make wind to power up the pillars.

Now view the left pillar and place one of the guide discs there.

Use the 2 arrows controls to rotate the pieces until the lines match those seen in the note. (The one for the rooster.)

Now view the right pillar and place the other guide disc. Use the controls again to align the discs.

We can now move on to the puzzle in the center of the gate.

To solve this you need rto turn each of the nodes on the grid to direct the power light around the board. You need to make sure that every node is connected and no beams of light are broken by not being able to enter a node.

The gate is now open and you can enter the village. Watch the cut scene to meet Joko the Halfling. And receive the next quest.

Drawing on Paper

Collection Item: by the side of the drying rack on the left.

Tap on the small cart wheel on the lower left to collect another Stained Glass piece (3 of 10)

Then tap on the well.

Collect another stained glass piece from the rim of the well (near the bottom) (4 of 10)

Next view the Cart with the horses to the right of the well. Collect another stained glass piece from under the cart. (5 of 10)

Now view the gate to the right of the cart. Then tap the bolt to open it.

Go through to the house. You will see a note about the key.

Collection Item: on the left side of the house.

First view the flowers in the wheel barrow on the left. Tap to move them apart and you can collect a stained Glass Piece (6 of 10).

Then collect another piece from the bottom of the pile of logs by the barrow. (7 of 10)

Collect another piece from the chair on the lower right (8 of 10)

Then view the pile of pumpkins on the right.

Move the pumpkins away from the pile and you will find a 'Part of the pattern'

Then open the top of the pumpkin in the center and you will find another stained glass piece. (9 of 10)

Now view the round window on the right of the door.

Joko will give you the last piece that you need.

Place the 10 pieces on the scene and you can begin the jigsaw puzzle to complete the window.
