Bonus Chapter - Part 3

This is our walkthrough for the Bonus Chapter of Lost Lands 8 Sand Captivity, an mystery puzzle game from Five-BN games. You will gain access to the Bonus Chapter after you complete the main game.

In the bonus chapter you will play as Kiana the granddaughter who has ventured into the Lost Lands for the first time via the portal left open by Susan.

This is the third part, in Bonus Chapter Page 2 we escaped from the Troll and made our way to Pumpkinton. Here we met Joko and have unlocked his house so that we can draw a picture.

Use the key to enter the house.

Collection Item: on the far left by the fireplace.

First tap on the green rug to move it and then on the trap door that is underneath. You will get a message about the hamster. You cannot open the door yet.

Now view the wall cabinet to the right of the window.

Open it and then also open the smaller doors on the right. Move the items inside and find and collect a sunflower.

Back up out of the house to the area with the well. Then view the cart with the sacks of grain.

Open the sack and collect some grain from it.

Next view the top of the well.

Add the sunflower to it and the panel will open to find a puzzle.

To solve this rotate each of the dials and arrange the symbols on the outer circles to match those on the inner circles.

Now view the open well and you can collect a 'Part of the Pattern from inside the top rim. Also tap the chain to note that you can get water from here.

Return to the house and tap to view the fire place. Place the grain on the ground by the mouse hole on the right. The hamster appears.

Now view the trap door in the floor again and you will be able to collect another piece of the pattern from the other mouse hole.

Now you can tap on the bureau desk on the right of the room.

Add the 3 pattern parts to the circle and you can then open it.

Collect from the bottom shelf the 'Workpiece' (white stick). Then from the top shelf the drawing paper on the left and a balled up paper from the center. Then take the key that was behind the paper ball.

Now use the key to open the trap door in the floor. You can then go down to a cellar.

You need to find an ax which is part of a hidden object scene, there are 15 items to find.

Ax

Collect a handle from the floor on the left and add it to the ax head that is on top of the barrel in the center. You can than collect the Ax.

Mug of Beer

Tap the mug that is on the center table and then place it on the stool on the right. Then tap the barrel to pour the beer and then collect it.

Flour

Open the closed sack on the right and collect the flour.

Hen

A plucked chicken hanging on the left.

Shovel

Hanging on the racks on the right.

Corn

Hanging from the roof on the top right.

Boot

Tap to view a panel in the racks on the right, it has 3 drawers. Open the bottom drawer to find a boot.

Helmet

In the same view as above open the middle drawer to find the helmet.

Fly

On the barrel on the far right.

Clover

View the small table at the center back of the room in the alcove. The clover is top left.

Tweezers

In the same view as above hidden near the lower right.

Palm

There is a large hand symbol on the floor to the right of the main table.

Trap

On the high shelf top left of the scene.

Magnifying Glass

There are 4 red gems around the room to collect and place on the emblem leaning on the beer barrel.

Once done place the emblem on the cupboard on the top left. It will open.

Look inside to find the Magnifying glass.

Shield

In the same view as above move the paper on the lower shelf and find the shield.

You now have the ax. Exit the house to the front and view the pile of logs. Use the ax here to split one and collect firewood.

Now you need to travel back to the first location that we arrived at. If you check the paper that re found on the dead travelers body you will see the X marking a spot to dig.

Use the trowel to dig here.

Collect a Magic Lighter. Now return to the house in Pumpkinton. And view the fire place.

Add the firewood, and the ball of paper. Then use the magic lighter to light it.

Next use the Workpiece on it to make drawing coal.

View the bureau again and use the drawing coal on the paper to make a sketch.

You will then get a cut scene to give you the next task.
