Heroes Charge Guide

Central heroes are usually casters with low HP, but sometimes they are ranged heroes that are armed with strong physical and magical skills.


Red are Ultimate skills (they are only available if the ultimate skill bar is full)
Green are Green tier skills.
Blue are Blue tier skills.
Purple are Purple Tier Skills.

Cloud Walker

Phantom Stab: Multiple physical attacks
Doppelganger: Summons two mirror images.
Frost Lance: Physical damage and slow with subsequent multiple attacks.
Phantom Boost: HP increase (self and the mirror images)

Comment: Cloud Walker creates multiple damage combos and not much else. He is a great pair with heroes that decreases the armors of your opponents, and a bad teammate for heroes that also does raw damage.

Death Mage

Summon Wraiths: Magic damage and lifesteal (multiple targets) -
Swarm of Bats: Magic damage to most front enemies.
Silence: Silence an area. (Silence = disables spellcasting)
Sinister Aspect: Magic power increase.

Comment: Silence is to die for especially on levels with lots of spellcasters. Death Mage is also invaluable in boss fights as you can stop the bosses from using their ultimate skills and other spells. Death Mage is a must-have hero if you want to blitz through this game.

Disease Bringer

Hellfire Giant: Summon giants to fight for him, upon summon such causes magic damage and stun.
Incantation: Heal or damage over time; target being the weakest ally or the weakest enemy.
Fist of Flame: Controls the giants to cast bash (stun) an enemy.
Field of Flame: Giants now have an aura that causes damage over time.

Comment: Disease Bringer depends all his usefulness to his summons. This is a huge problem when he is silenced because he cannot do anything else. This will also make him item dependent so that you can hit his skill ceiling always, also putting pressure in Team Level. He is that good though because the summons are almost equal to some heroes.

Emberstorm: Magic damage to a random enemy.
The Crucible: Magic damage (Area).
Caldera of Ash: Magic damage and stun to a single random unit.
Phoenix Feather: Energy raise per attack.

Comment: Being one of the early heroes you can get, Emberstar does not amp up her usefulness as you progress deep into the game. Her random nature does not help the cause since she might use her ultimate skill to the non-deserving member of the mob.

Tortured Spirit: Magic damage (Area, also casted when Ferryman dies)
Shades: Magic damage (Area, moderate, increases everytime a hero dies)
Mastery of Death: Attack damage increase if a hero dies. Ferryman increases his attack damage every time a Hero dies. The effect of Skill Shades will also be increased.
Haunting of Dark Lord: Physical damage reduction (all targets)

Comment: Horrible hero because he depends on your party dying, not a sound strategy especially when the bonuses are not that great for real.
