Replenishing AP
More Blue Archive
Blue Archive is a military strategy RPG that takes place in the academy city of Kivotos where players take the role of an advisor to the Federal Investigation Club (Schale) and will be tasked in resolving a myriad of incidents that happen within the academy city. Most gacha games have some sort of energy or stamina system that is consumed when doing normal missions. In Blue Archive, such a limiter is known as AP. In our AP Management Guide, we will discuss how to manage and maximize your AP.
As mentioned above, AP acts as a limiter or time-gating mechanic to at least prevent players from playing too much. Blue Archive is a mobile game so it is designed to be played regularly over a longer period instead of playing several hours in one sitting. AP in the game is used for clearing normal and hard missions, as well as Commission stages.
You’ll passively recover 1 AP every 6 minutes. There’s no way to speed up this rate or increase the number of AP replenished every 6 minutes. Once your AP reaches its maximum amount, the passive recovery will stop. You can still earn additional AP even when you have max AP; however, the passive recovery will still not activate until the amount goes below your max AP.
Aside from the passive AP recovery, there are several ways of replenishing your AP, as we’ll list below.
* Complete daily tasks. (Daily Login, 7PM login, hold a Lesson, etc)
* Purchase 120 AP using 30 pyroxene
* Check your Cafe and claim your passively-earned AP and credits.
* If you’re a member of a club, make sure to check that button daily to get the 10 AP Club Attendance reward.
* On certain days, you’ll get some AP as a Login Reward
* You can consume Energy Drinks to instantly replenish AP. You can purchase them from the Tactical Challenge tab in the Shop.
* Whenever you increase your Player Level, you’ll replenish the AP equal to your max AP.
If you’re playing the game heavily (like several hours a day), then it’s natural to run out of AP quickly. However, the game is generous enough to give you a considerable amount of AP per day, which is enough to clear all of the daily tasks and have some excess AP to proceed with the story or whatever you want to farm. We strongly recommend avoiding playing the game for hours at a time in one sitting. Mobile games like Blue Archive are not meant for long gameplay sessions, unless you’re willing to spend resources in AP replenishment (and possible strain on your hands if you’re playing on a mobile device). Try clearing your daily missions/tasks, get the rewards, log out, then log in again later in the day.
