Relationship Rank Guide
More Blue Archive
Blue Archive is a military strategy RPG that takes place in the academy city of Kivotos where players take the role of an advisor to the Federal Investigation Club (Schale) and will be tasked in resolving a myriad of incidents that happen within the academy city. Students play a pivotal role in the game as they're your individual units with various roles, strengths, weaknesses, and of course, personality. In our Relationship Rank Guide, we will discuss how this feature works and what benefits you can get from improving your relationship with students.
What is Relationship Rank
The Relationship Rank is a feature in the game that allows you to build your affinity and relationship with all recruited students. As a student’s relationship rank increases, she’ll gain permanent stat boosts. The stat(s) boosted will vary from student to student, and each student can be boosted up to RR20.How to Check RR
There are two ways to check a student’s RR, as listed below:1. Via MomoTalk: This chat “app” is found in the main menu, on the top-left corner of the screen. The number inside a pink heart-shaped icon is the student’s RR.
2. In the Student’s Profile Page, you’ll see the heart icon and “rank” indicated in the lower-left corner, right under their profile.
How to Boost RR
There are several ways of improving your relationship with a student, as listed below.1. Conduct Lessons
2. Interact with them in the Cafe
3. Invite them to the Cafe
4. Give them gifts
Chatting via MomoTalk
As you increase your RR with a student, you can exchange messages with them via MomoTalk’s chat feature. There are no wrong responses here so choose whatever you want. You’ll receive new chats from your students as you increase their RR and view their Relationship Stories.Relationship Story
Once you’ve reached a certain RR with a student, you’ll have the option to view their Relationship Story. This is a special sequence where you can spend time with the student and get closer to her. There are no missable Relationship Stories; you can continue boosting a student’s RR (deliberately or not) then just view the stories consecutively in one sitting.Recollection Lobby
Some students have a special L2D screen called Recollection Lobbies that you can set in your homescreen. The first one you’ll get with this feature enabled is Yuuka. Usually, you’ll unlock this feature after reaching RR10 and viewing their relationship story. To know which students have this option available, you can tap the Roster Icon on the upper-right corner to set up up to five students that you want to see in your homescreen. The students with the pink profile icon below their portraits have a Recollection Lobby available. You can tap the cycle icon in the upper-right corner to switch between the student’s normal pose or her unlocked Recollection illustration.
Relationship Ranks is a good way to feel closer to your favorite students while also giving you visual candy and also boosting their stats at the same time. We recommend focusing on the students you like and the ones you’ll use often.
