Unlock Mystic Process

Blue Archive is a military strategy RPG that takes place in the academy city of Kivotos where players take the role of an advisor to the Federal Investigation Club (Schale) and will be tasked in resolving a myriad of incidents that happen within the academy city. Students play a pivotal role in the game as they're your individual units with various roles, strengths, weaknesses, and of course, personality. In our Unlock Mystic Guide, we will quickly discuss how this process works and how it can help boost your students’ overall combat capability.

Students in Blue Archive come in three different rarities, which are represented by stars. 1-star students are common, 2-stars are uncommon, and 3-stars are rare. Unlocking mystic allows you to increase a student’s star, up to a maximum of 5-stars. Increasing a student’s star will provide significant and permanent stat boosts, increase their max Relationship level, and unlock additional skill slots.

1-star students will unlock their 3rd and 4th skills when you increase their stars to 2 and 3-stars respectively. 2-star students will unlock their 4th skill if you promote them to 3-stars. Finally, 3-star students already have all skills unlocked so increasing their stars to 4 and 5 stars will just provide stat boosts and max relationship ranks.

You can find the Unlock Mystic in the student’s profile page. You’ll need to exchange the required amount of Elephs and credits to complete the process. You can obtain character-specific Elephs by Recruiting them again. The amount of credits and elephs required will increase as your stars increase as well.

You can also exchange Eligma (Eleph essences) via the Eligma shop for character Elephs. Take note that the amount of Eligma required for Elephs will increase as you buy more of them. So for example, the first 20 elephs you’ll purchase will just cost 1 eligma each. The next 20 will cost 2 eligma each, and so on.

Due to the large amount of resources needed to complete this process, we strongly recommend unlocking the Mystic of your favorite characters or the characters you intend to use regularly. The buffs provided by this feature is nothing to be scoffed at so try to take care of your main students to make your combat experience significantly better.
