Episode 9 Extra Stars Guide

As well as the Star that you will earn for completing Episode 9, there are nine more that you can collect during the game. These will come from finding collectible items and completing certain puzzles with requirements.

This is our list of the extra star opportunities in Episode 9.

Episode Puzzles

There are 2 puzzles that you will platy as part of the episode that have requirements to earn a star. But you do not need to earn the star to complete them or continue with the episode.

• Masks Puzzle - This is found on a red box on a platform in the Big tent. Complete this in 30 moves or less to earn the extra star.
  
• Shooting Gallery Puzzle - This is found in the shooting gallery after you turn the lights on. You need to work out the correct order to shoot the targets in and complete it in less than two minutes. You will need to restart this puzzle as you experiment and work out the correct order.
  

Collectibles

In each location you will find a Morphing object and 1 of 2 types of collectible item. Once you have them all you can claim stars for them. The locations are described in the Episode 9 walkthrough.

Morphing Objects

Collect 12 of these, one in each location.

Claim the star for finding them going to the dressing room in the big tent. On the left wall is a red curtain that you can move to find a poster of an Elephant. This will open to let you claim the star

Jugglers Clubs - Collection Item

There are Six of these to find.

Once you have them go to the area with the acrobat and then view the Juggling acrobat on the platform at the end of the tightrope.

Balloons - Collection Item

There are Six of these to find.

Once you have them go to to the big tent and view a Clown statue on the right of the dressing room.

Extra Puzzles

There are also 3 sets of collectible items to find hidden around all of the locations. There are five of each type giving you 15 to look out for in total.

Donuts

Once you have found these you can go to the snack bar area and view a table on the right.

Add the donuts one at a time to play 5 mini games to collect the star. These are solitaire style games where you need to jump donuts over each other to clear them. You need to remove all the donuts except one to complete it. You can only move onto the green squares.

Balls

Once you have these go to the platform with the downed balloon on the river and view the table on the right.

Use the 5 balls here to play the bonus games to claim a Star. This is a pipes puzzle where you need to slide the blocks around the board and arrange them to create a pipe connection between the green and red connectors.

Airships

Once you have found these you can go to the lake area, There is a balloon basket on the right where you encountered a snake.

Add each of the airships here to play a game. Use the airships around the edges to push the four Balloons into the center squares.

Secret Room

In this episode there is a secret room that you unlock as you play though, this is found in the back area with the Bear.

At the far end there is a gate that you can view to see that it has five lights on it. These need to be turned on to open the gate.

There is a note there as well to read with a riddle.

You need to find five buttons to press around the other areas of the episode to light the lights and open the gate. Each one has clues to find another one as a note with a riddle.

Locations:

1. Teddy Bear - Area with the Bear, on the right is a bear toy on a create by the tree. View this and turn it over to see the heart button.
   
   
2. Bicycle - In the big tent it is lying on the ground in front of the dressing room. Press the button on the handlebars.
   
3. Doll - In the caravan of the fortune teller on a green chair. Lower right. Turn it around to find the button.
   
   
4. Spinning Top - In the dressing room in the big tent, on the floor in front of the desk. Press the top.
   
5. Excavator - In the Amusement park, a toy digger on the ground near the green cabinet.
   

Once you press all the the buttons the gate is open, you can go through to start the hidden object scene.

Secret Room Hidden Objects

Tap a bottle in the center of the scene and then on the rock to the right to break it and collect a Glass Shard.

Next view a Green wagon on the right and then look inside.

View the seat on the right and use the Glass Shard on it to cut the fabric, Collect a Screwdriver.

Then view the table on the left side, there is a box with a jigsaw puzzle on top with some pieces missing.

Move items on the table to locate the 6 missing pieces and then place them on the puzzle. Once it is complete the box will open, collect a Carved Pattern.

Backup and look on the side of the green cart to see a hatch with a padlock.

Use the screwdriver on the bracket of the lock to remove it and open the hatch. Collect an Oil can and a Car Jack.

Back up and view the Well on the left side of the scene. Use the Oil Can on the winch handle.

Turn the handle and then you can collect the Bucket of Water.

Next view the fire in the pit next to the well. Use the bucket of Water to put the fire out. Then you can view it and collect a Key.

View the side of the Green cart again and place the Car Jack under the empty axle of the cart to raise it up.

Now you can use the key to unlock the box that was under the cart. Collect a second Carved Pattern and a red Arcade Joystick.

Go back inside the green cart and view the seat on the right again. On the front panel are two diamond shapes. Place the two Carved Patterns here.

This opens the panel and you can collect a Power Cord.

Back up to the start and then view the three old arcade machines on the back wall. Add the Power cord to these to turn them on.

View the first machine to see the puzzle game.

• This is a simple jumping game. Tap to make the animal jump over the obstacles.
• Continue the run for 1 minute. You have three lives.

Then you can move on to the second machine.

• This is a driving game.
• Move the car left and right to avoid the obstacles.
• Again you need to survive for 1 minute

For the third machine you need to add the Arcade Joystick to start.

• This is space invaders.
• Move left and right to avoid the enemy fire. Tap to shoot the ships above.
• Clear the wave to complete the game.

Once this is done you can collect the Star for the Secret Room for Episode 9.

This should let you claim all of the 10 stars for this episode.
