Episode 2 Walkthrough - Wild West

This is our guide to Wild West, the second Episode in the puzzle adventure game Artifact Seekers, from Five BN. In this episode you are exploring a wild west town to find the secrets of an ancient civilization.

You will be searching for an Indian Treasure trove and will need to explode another range of wild west and desert locations. As before you also have the option to collect items and solve extra puzzles for stars if you want to.

Episode 2 - Wild West Walkthrough

After the introduction from Maxim again you begin in the town, on the left is a Saloon and a store, and on the right is a jailhouse.

First you will need to talk to the person at the barred window on the right to talk to him. He will tell you about the Sheriff.

Morphing Object: a circle on the upper window on the side of the jailhouse on the right.

Tap the notice board on the right to view it.

Collection Item: a wanted poster on the left.

Collect a Drawing piece from the rail on the lower left.

Notice the sign above the saloon with 3 cards, this is a clue. Now enter the Saloon on the left.

Morphing Object: Candle stick / Quill on the right side of the surround of the fireplace, on the left of the room.

On the right is a table with a man where you can play optional extra puzzles for a star reward if you collect the items needed (Mugs).

Talk to the Sheriff, he will ask you to buy him a drink. Next view a framed drawing on the wall behind the bar.

Add the scrap of drawing that you have to complete it, then you can collect a Pebble from the bottom right.

Collection Item: small wanted posted in the top left of the drawing.

Next view the cash register on the back behind the bar, collect the pack of Cigarettes.

Notice the bird symbol on the bottle on the left.

Mug: Find a mug on the counter to the right of the cash register.

Exit the saloon and tap to talk to the man on the stage coach at the end of the street.

You will need to give him the cigarettes and then he will take you to a Post office.

Morphing Object: Rock / grave stone on the upper left by the bend in the rail tracks.

Mug:view the deck in front of the post office below the hanging sign to see a broken piece. Move this to find the Mug.

Enter the Post Office building.

Notice the option to buy Ink here. And also notice the calendar that we will need later. Collect the Ladder from the left.

Now exit the post office and tap on the train in the distance on the top right.

Morphing Object: small bush on the right near the last car of the train.

Collection Item: a snake on one of the broken boxes in the ground to the lower right.

View the side of the last car on the train to see a large Plaque with bird symbols. This is an optional area of the episode, you will need to find some bird clues as you explore the locations then return here to open it. We have seen one already.

Tap the path on the left to move through to an Indian village.

Talk to the man by the fire. He will give you a Recipe for Sleeping Potion.

Collection Item: snake emblem on the necklace worn by the man.

Morphing Object: Wheel on top of the Teepee tent on the back left.

Now look inside the large tent behind the man.

Morphing Object: fruit hanging from the line on the top left.

Tap to view the axe stuck in the totem on the right.

Collection Item: Snake on the vase on the left.

Collect the Tomahawk.

Now examine a small patch on the fabric of the tent on the left.

Use the tomahawk on it to cut it open and then collect a Figurine.

Notice a clue of 4 blue faces in on the fabric.

Mug: collect a Mug from the top of the box on the left just below the fabric patch.

Exit the tent and view the cactus plant on the right of the fire.

Use the tomahawk on the part with the flower to cut and collect the Cactus Flower.

Next view the horse on the back left. You can add the figurine to the saddle bag to open it. Collect a Totem.

Now back up to the post office and then tap a path on the top left to move through to an old farm

Collection Item: wanted poster on the box on the lower left.

Morphing Object: large urn / barrel in front of the farmhouse to the right of the front porch.

Mug: by the half barrel in front of the barn on the left.

Look in the barn to the left and then collect a Handle from the barrow on the right.

Now place the ladder on the front of the barn to reach the hatch in the roof.

Open the door and look inside.

Collect a Lasso from the box on the left and a Detail from the floor on the right.

Next tap on the path to the right of the farmhouse, you will move on to a river bank.

Morphing Object: Next/Beaver on the rock in the middle of the river.

Collection Item: Snake design on the tall stone on the far side of the river.

Use the Lasso on a box that is floating by the large rock in the middle of the river, this will bring the box to you.

Open the box and collect a Model of the house.

Now view a cave entrance on the right side. It is covered with vines.

Use the tomahawk to cut the vines. Now you can enter the cave. There is a large altar stone in the center.

Collection Item: snake painting on the wall on the right above the glowing mushrooms.

Morphing Object: A small square stone with a symbol on it to the left of the central Altar stone.

View the glowing mushrooms on the right and use the tomahawk to cut one. Collect the Cave Mushroom.

Back up to the farm house and view a table in the center that has a model on it. Place the house model that you have on the right to start a puzzle.

Model Town Puzzle

The model has 15 items that are out of place.

You need to select each item and then tap to place it into the correct location.

The 15 items are:

Show

1. Ladder on the lower left to go to the water tower.
2. Round roof by the cows on the right to go on top of the water tower.
3. Windmill sail by the water tower to the windmill on the right.
4. Musician on top of the water tower to go with the others in the center.
5. Wagon wheel on the roof hear the center to go on the wagon.
6. Oar by the building behind the musicians to go on the boat on the left.
7. Net on the roof above where the oar was to go to the boat.
8. Barrel that is next to where the oar was to go to the other barrels on the left net to the boat.
9. Door in the back of the wagon to go on the top left building.
10. Clock on the ground by the people to go on the lower right building.
11. Fisherman by the wagon to go to the lake.
12. Hay bale by the lake to go next to the ones by the cows.
13. Cow on the left by the lake to go with the others on the right.
14. Sheep on the right of the windmill to go with the others below the water tower.
15. Anvil on the ground by the sheep to go to the forge behind the water tower.

Collect the Pipe.

Now travel back to the town where you started. View the well on the left and add the handle to it. Then you can raise and collect the Bucket.

Then tap just under the windmill at the end of the street just to the left of the jail house. You will find a large box with chains.

Use the Detail here on the lock to open the chains. Then tap the wheel on the right to open the box.

Collect a Handsaw and a Detail.

Coins: Tap in the grass on the bottom left of the large box to move it and find a Coin.

Now you need to travel back to the riverbank. View the water on the left again. Use the bucket here to collect a Bucket of water.

Next travel to the post office and you can view the water trough on the right by the horse. Use the bucket to fill it with water and the horse will walk forwards moving the wagon.

Collect a Boot from the ground under the wagon. Then view the back of the wagon. Use the tomahawk here to cut the rope and open the cover.

Collect a Pendulum and a Decoration.

Notice the bird symbol on one of the boxes.

Now you need to travel to the train. Tap the engine of the train to look inside the cab.

Use the hand saw on the Shovel to collect it.

Back out and tap on the broken boxes on the ground by the train. Use the tomahawk here to break them open.

Coin: move a small stone on the ground on the top left of the box to find a coin.

Collect the Stencil and a Casket.

View the casket in the inventory and add the decoration to it to find a puzzle

Casket Puzzle

• There are 4 gems on the board. Each gem can be moved by using the matching colored arrow buttons at the bottom.
• You cannot move all of the gems in all directions.
• You can use one gem to push other gems around.
• You need to place the 4 gems into the matching shaped slots on the sides of the board.
• This is a special times puzzle. If you complete it in under 2 minutes then you will also get an extra star for this episode.
• You can reset the game to the start at any time if you are stuck

Once done you can collect a Key.

Go back to the post office and go inside. View the calendar on the wall.

Place the stencil onto the calendar to highlight 2 numbers.

Now exit and view the clock on the left of the post office.

Clock puzzle

Open the glass cover of the clock. You can then set the time by moving the hands.

Use the clue from the calendar to set the correct time.

The time for you may be different, check your calendar clue.

The clock opens and you can collect a Handle.

Now we head back to the Saloon. First view the cuckoo clock on the left wall.

Add the Pendulum to the bottom and then the top will open and you can collect a Figured Key.

Next view the Cash register again and place the handle onto the side of it. Tap this to open the drawer, then collect a Drum and a Banknote.

Next tap on the sheriff again and then on the bar to the right of the sheriff to collect the Peanuts.

Now we travel back to the post office again.

View a suitcase that is on the left of the building.

Open the Suitcase

• You can add the drum to this to fix the combination lock.
  
• Notice the playing card symbols on the case, this is a clue.
• Now view the lock and set the correct 3 digit combination.
• We saw a clue for this at the start

Solution:

Enter the Post office and use the bank note on the teller window. You can then collect a bottle of Ink.

Now go to the farm again and view the front door of the house..

Use the key on the lock to open it and then go inside.

Collection Item: snake on a jar on the shelf top left.

Morphing Object: tree seen through the window.

Coin: tap a patch on the right arm of the chair that is covered with a green cloth.

Place the Boot with the others on the shelves on the left to start a puzzle.

Boots Puzzle

• There are 8 pairs of boots here but they are jumbled up.
• Tap 2 boots at a time to swap their positions.
• Place them into matching pairs by checking the designs on each.

Once done you can collect a Detail and an Oiler.

Next look on the table to see a small grinder. Open the top and place the peanuts inside. You can now collect the ground Peanut from the drawer.

Return to the Saloon and view a large wooden chest on the floor to the right. Place the detail (the previous one with an Indian Head on it) into the slot on the top to open it.

Cards Puzzle

• This is a star puzzle, you need to complete it within the number or moves (48) to earn the extra star.
• You can reset the puzzle at any time.
• Use the arrows to move the rows of cards left and right.
• Then use the center button to swap the 3 center space between the top and bottom.
• You need to arrange then in ascending order: 1, 2, 3 on the top. 3, 4, 5 on the bottom. But you do not need to do them all at once.
• Get the cards 1, 2 and 3 in order on the top top to light up 1 light, then work on getting 4, 5 and 6 on the bottom but don't worry if you mess up the top row as this has already counted.

Collect the Roach and also a Hook.

Exit the saloon to the street and view a wheelbarrow with coal in it in the center of the street. Use the shovel to move the coal.

Collect some Pincers. Then place the Hook into the slot on the box in the barrow. View the puzzle

Box Picture Puzzle

• The puzzle has a picture with 10 small circles that are in the wrong places
• Tap the large circles to rotate the 3 small picture pieces around.
• Arrange all of the piece into the correct locations to complete the puzzle.

Collect a Token.

Now travel back to the train. First look at the sign board on the left of the train. This has some scratched symbols on it. this is a clue. Yours may be different.

Now view the front of the train. Add the round Detail to the center to start a puzzle.

Train engine puzzle

• Notice the grids with letters on the left and right.
• Rotate the pointer in the center of the circle to indicate letters.
• This will spell out a word below.
• Use the clue from the sign to find the correct letters from the grids.

The answer here will vary, you will need to check the clues. on the sign in your game.

The front opens now and you can collect a Flask and another Totem

Next look inside the cab of the train again. The round door to the fire box is stuck. (you need to try opening it first)

Use the oiler on this then you can open it and collect an Oval Detail.

Head to the Indian village. Then look in the tree above the fire. There is a red apple. Use the lasso on the Apple to collect it.

Now view the recipe that you have and add to it the Cactus flower, the peanut, the cave mushroom and the apple. You will collect the Ingredients.

Next view the pot of water on the fire. Add the Ingredients to it. Then use the flask on the pot to collect the Sleeping Potion.

Now you can travel to the saloon and view the sheriff again. Use the sleeping potion on his glass to fill it and he will then drink from it.

Once he falls asleep you can take the key from his waist.
