Hero Bond System
Tales of Grimm Guide

Tales of Grimm is an idle RPG where you play as the Dreamer, and lead an army of creatures, heroes, and other entities as you help the natives of the fairy tale land of Oz. Summoning heroes regularly is integral to your account’s overall growth and gameplay experience. As such, as you summon more heroes, the more likely you’ll be able to activate their respective Hero Bonds. In our Hero Bond Guide, we will discuss this feature and learn the boons it provides.

Hero Bond Overview

This system provides stat bonuses to all heroes you own by simply collecting the heroes belonging to their respective groups. For example, the Snowy Fairytale group has four members: Yuri Schnee, Dark Queen, Prince Charm, and Wicked Hag. Getting any one of them will activate the first Bond bonus (ATK +25, SPD +2, 250 HP) which are applicable to all heroes in your roster.

Additional Bond stat bonuses will be applied as you’re able to summon the other group members. Once you have completed all the group members, you’ll be able to claim additional rewards for completing the group. Of course, the activation of these Bond bonuses depend on the number of members. In the example above, you’ll get a Bond bonus by summoning the first and second member. The last bond bonus is activated after getting the fourth member. For larger groups like the Dragon & Sleeping Princess (6 members), bond bonuses are applied for getting the first, third, and sixth members of the group.

So far, there’s only 12 groups in the game while the other members are yet to be released. You don’t have direct control on activating the stat buffs provided by the Hero Bond system since recruiting the members of each group relies heavily on your luck and resources. Nevertheless, this buff is still a welcome addition to further increase your party’s overall combat power.

Accessing the Hero Bond window

You can access the Hero Bond screen by doing the following steps:

1. From the main menu, tap the Hero button at the bottom

2. Next, tap the Album icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.

3. Next, tap the Bond tab to access the Hero Bond screen.
