Why Can't I Enter the Eye of Eden?
Sky: Children of the Light Guide
If you've recently finished all the 6 chapters of the game and found all the different ancestor spirits in the different kingdoms in Sky, you've most likely unlocked the portal leading toward the Eye of Eden (found at the home screen area). If you've noticed, it looks very similar to a constellation gate (those barriers found in the kingdom) which requires you to have at the very least acquired (and still have) 20 winged lights. Otherwise, if you try to enter this portal (with less than the required 20), it will show a message telling you that you are not strong enough play in this area.
However, despite being set there for good measure, 20 winged light is likely to only cause you failure in the Eye of Eden, and great difficulty of reaching the end with any more winged lights to spare for you to use in exchange for ascended candles (by sharing light on the statues found on the last leg of the Eye of Eden). Be informed that getting there, although easy if you have a veteran player accompanying you, is not without any risks. Getting caught by the Krill, being hit by the rocks and getting your light shut by the strong wind are all elements that generally takes up your winged light.
So in reality, putting a barrier in the Eye of Eden portal generally serves as a warning to people, that the concluding chapter they are about to get into is very difficult. In fact, in the previous version of the game, you will need at least five people (or a group) before it even lets you enter the Eye of Eden. In essence, the reason of pursuing this chapter is actually unlocking more valuable game content by means of using the winged lights that you've collected and having as much of them survive the chapter and then be traded for ascended candles.
