Why take Eye of Eden at all?

Even if you hear people saying that you’ll sacrifice your cape or winged lights in this chapter, there are two main reasons why you’ll need to go through the Eye of Eden chapter. First is mainly to finish the Lore and get a better understanding of the entire story of the game. The second reason is the pursuit of unlocking more valuable game content. As you get the idea of what you’ll get in return upon successfully finishing the chapter, you’ll definitely want to yet again collect winged lights in the different kingdoms of Sky, re-play the Eye of Eden, and continuously unlock more collectible stuff in the game.

Eye of Eden (Final Chapter)

Taking the Eye of Eden will sacrifice all the winged lights that you’ve collected, and in return, you’ll get ascended candles -- which is the most valuable resource in the game. Not limited to that, once you’ve finished the Eye of Eden, you will have the chance at unlocking the wing buffs from each and every ancestor spirit in the game. Doing this will not only unlock permanent buffs for your cape (that also compounds effect on your flight ability), but also unlock another tier of collectibles in the spirit shops.

We will also summarized the different legs of the Eye of Eden, and what to expect there.

1st Leg of the Eye of Eden

Primarily, you’ll just have to follow your group as the veterans would trek up the landscape and lead you towards the next phase. There really isn’t much to fret about in this portion of the Eye of Eden as there wouldn’t be anything much to cause you harm while in this area. However, you should still pay attention to your group, making sure you do not get left behind.

2nd Leg of the Eye of Eden (Battle with Krill)

The second leg of your journey in the Eye of Eden will be a bit harder. This time, you’ll have to deal with a Dragon like creature that will attack you once it sees you. Being attacked by this creature will cost you a winged light, but that's just one thing to worry about so just make sure you follow the directions of the veterans leading your party (it will be helpful to use auto follow and just try and help keep the light of the party).

Eye of Eden (Final Chapter)

For the most part, the key here be cautious of the flailing rocks being hurled at you. Also, you'll need to move strategically (or at least the veteran leading your party), ultimately avoiding taking damage from all possible threats including being seen by the patrolling dragon-like creature, and suffering from being hit by the crazy strong winds (which also kills your light) or by being hit by the rocks. If you have a veteran friend who might have the “Warp” ability and is willing to save you all these troubles, it is very useful in this challenge, as they can easily warp you off the difficult areas that you encounter. The basic idea is to get to the top most part of the hill (avoiding all obstacles as you can, and getting there in one piece

3rd Leg the Eye of Eden (Statues)

When you reach this leg, everyone is on his/her own. No one can help you in this area, or there really isn't any reason for that matter. Also, take note that rocks will continuously be hurled at you and this time, there will be no place to hide or take cover. You will gradually lose your winged lights in this part of the game, and the real goal is to find as many "statues" there, and light them a candle -- which in effect will also deposit a portion of your winged lights, and yes, gradually kill you too. By lighting them a candle (and giving away your own life), you are in a way, saving these “Children of the Light”. The more statues you share your light with, the more reward you get after completing this section of the game (so maintain your focus!).

Eye of Eden (Final Chapter)

As we’ve mentioned earlier, you’ll have to share your light to the statues, and as many as you can. Nonetheless, you will still lose life from the constant barrage of rocks being hurled at you, even if you do not move and eventually die (do not panic as this is totally normal).

Ascension Through the Stars

Congratulations! You’ve successfully finished the chapter and the game. After the cutscene, you’ll find yourself in a place where you’ll find all the Children of Light (or spirits) that you have saved -- and you’ll have to collect from each one of them you ascended candle rewards. When you are done, you’ll just have to keep walking in the area until you see the constellations and get to access them. It is through here where you’ll get the chance to acquire wing buffs (and unlock the concluding collectibles from the pertaining ancestor spirit).

Eye of Eden (Final Chapter)

Though you can use the ascended candles later on in the game, it is in this section where you’ll have access to all ancestor spirits and acquire whatever special thing that you want from them, prior to being re-born in the game (which you’ll then automatically have, like wing buffs).
