Equipment

The equipment in Royal Chaos, like that of its heroes as classified by their rarity / quality. From Green ones as the most common ones, there are also Blue, Purple, Orange, and Red -- which are arrange by quality. During the initial phase of the game, you'd pretty much get a hold of common ones. Nonetheless, it is important to know that even common equipment can be improved or powered up similar to how you upgrade/level up your heroes.

To power up the equipment, you need to consume Equip Advanced Materials -- items that can be obtained by smelting the over-abundant equipment you have in your inventory. You can access smelting in your bedroom, at the far left side of the room. You can earn Smelting Points from smelting the unused equipment in your inventory. Smelting Points can then be exchanged for Equip Advanced Materials.

Equipment Enhancement

The enhancement of equipment costs Gold. However, you should remember that the cap limit of enhancement is mainly dictated by your main character’s level. Additionally, changing your equipment will still retain the level of enhancement it has - meaning you can easily un-equip the item, and give it to another hero if you need to.

Picking the Right Equipment for your Heroes

In the early stage of the game, you should mainly focus in obtaining high-quality hoods, robes, and boots to your tank heroes. For your area of effect heroes on the other hand, you'll have to align them with quality necklace and shoes. This is similar to your damage dealers in the roster. As you progress through the game, you'll want to get your hands on set equipment for their bonuses.

Additional Tips:

You can get equipment mainly through the main task, auto-battle system, intrigue and faction quests. After you get the equipment, you can start to strengthen it, advance, or embed gems.

If the equipment you earn start to pile up in your inventory (as it would in no time), you can go to your bedroom, to the far left NPC and have them smelted. Melted equipment mainly gives you smelting points that act like a special currency to purchase special materials used in upgrading your equipment.

Different quality equipment has its initial attack power and basic attributes -- mind the difference of their basic attributes. Also note that equipping set equipment have additional bonuses.

Each equipment has three gemstone holes. Gem hole number is related to the reinforcement level of the equipment.
