Darkness Rises Guide
Darkness Rises is a dark fantasy action RPG that brings players in a world threatened by a massive demonic invasion. Players take control of legendary heroes to decimate the demonic forces in a smooth, fast-paced, action-packed combat. Skills, stats, and equipment aside, you can also bring along pets in your adventure. In our Pet Management and Basics guide, we will discuss how to obtain pets and how to use them in combat.
How to Obtain Pets
To adopt new pets, you can tap the Pet Summons in the right-side of the home screen. From there, you can use Pet Summon Tickets (if you have them) or spend 1000 gems. The pet you’ll get will range from Rank A and S. Alternatively, if you also have a Pet Egg item from your inventory, you can use that to gain random pets as well.
As soon as you get a pet, don’t hesitate to deploy them. The stat bonuses they provide are invaluable, especially for low-level characters. Just consider replacing them once you have a higher-ranked pet that you can invest in.
Pet Management
To access the pet management screen, tap the main menu > select Character > tap Pet. From there, you’ll see all pets you have adopted so far. You’re free to choose which ones to bring.
While a pet is deployed, it will continuously consume Candy, which is its main food. At full gauge, the candies will last for 24 hours. Thankfully, you can recharge the Candy gauge using only gold (300,000 from empty to full). Keeping your pet recharged will maintain the stat boosts it will provide to your character.
You can only keep a maximum of 60 pets. You can expand this space by 10 slots by spending 300 gems. However, unless you’re really pulling regularly for pets, you don’t really need to do some inventory expansion anytime soon.
If you have a lot of low-ranked pets that you don’t really use, you can release them to delete them from your list and earn some Pet Development berries in return. The quality of the development berries you’ll get will depend on the rank of the pet(s) you have released.
