Character Awakening

Darkness Rises is a dark fantasy action RPG that brings players in a world threatened by a massive demonic invasion. Players take control of legendary heroes to decimate the demonic forces in a smooth, fast-paced, action-packed combat. As your character grows stronger, so are the challenges he/she has to face in the end-game content. In our Character Awakening guide, we will discuss the basics of Character Awakening and how to use them to your advantage.

Character Awakening is a process of unlocking new powers for a character who reached LV100. This feature provides major power upgrades to your character, ranging from new attributes previously unavailable to permanent stat boosts. Even if you’re playing daily and regularly, reaching LV100 will take you a while; however, getting access to this end-game feature is a breath of fresh air and will open up new challenges for you to tackle.

The [Awaken Character] menu appears in the main lobby for characters who are eligible for the Awakening Quests. You can also access it alternatively by going to [Menu] - [Character] - [Awaken Character].

Completing all awakening missions will complete the awakening process and provide the following benefits:

* Permanent stat boosts

* Max Character Level increased to 120

* Max Essence Level increased to 500

* Awakening Level Up Feature Unlocked

* Awakening Transfer Feature Unlocked

* Awakening Attribute Feature Unlocked

* 6th Normal/Combo Skill Unlocked

* 4th Skill Slot Unlocked

* Awakened Skill Unlocked

Awakening Levels

Awakened characters can be further leveled up by increasing their Awakening Level. Unlike normal level up, you’ll need Diabolic Stones to increase your Awakening Level. Diabolic Stones can be farmed from Demonic Raids (Co-op).

Awakening Attribute

The points you’ve earned from increasing your Awakening Levels can be used for obtaining Awakening Attributes. The skill tree follows a top-to-bottom progress so you’ll need to learn the first skill on the top first before you can access the subsequent skills below it.

It’s also important to know that you can reset your Awakening Attributes any time without any penalties or cost! This makes it easier to try out various attributes that fit your combat style or setup.

Awakening Transfer

This is the process of using extra/unwanted gears and Diabolic Powders that can boost your character’s ATK, DEF, and HP. To perform this process, do the following steps:

1. Select the Gemstone and review the stats it will boost.

2. Select the gears you want to use as fodder. (Auto-select can be enabled by choosing the proper sorting criteria/filters)

3. Tap the Awakening Transfer button in the lower-middle part of the screen to complete the process.

Important Reminders:

* Gears used in this process are consumed and are permanently lost

* If the gears used have jewels embedded on them, these jewels will be returned to your inventory.

The stats that will be increased in Awakening Transfers will vary according to the level:

Red Gemstone (Consumes: Weapons)

Blue Gemstone (Consumes: Armor)

Green Gemstone (Consumes: Accessory)
