Gear and Costume Transcendence

Darkness Rises is a dark fantasy action RPG that brings players in a world threatened by a massive demonic invasion. Players take control of legendary heroes to decimate the demonic forces in a smooth, fast-paced, action-packed combat. Skills and stats aside, weapons and equipment are also an important factor that players should always keep updated and upgraded. In our Gear Transcendence guide, we will discuss the basics of transcending your gear and costumes to further increase your character’s power.

Gear Transcendence

Transcendence is only available to fully enhanced (LV60) Rank S++ gears. This process allows the gear to gain permanent stat boosts and increase its level cap by 2. You can transcend a gear up to 5 times, allowing it to gain an additional 10 levels. You can transcend all weapons, armor pieces, accessories, etc

After fully enhancing a gear, the Enhance button will be replaced by the Transcend button. You’ll need to use another Rank S++ gear of the same type as a material. The S++ gear that will be consumed doesn’t need to be at max enhancement. The amount of gold required will increase as the transcend count increases (1 mil at transcendence 0-1, 4.5 mil at transcendence 4-5)

To transcend a gear do the following steps:

1. Access the Gear option to display all currently-equipped gears

2. Select the equipment you want to transcend, then tap the Transcend button

3. In the following window, select the S++ gear you want to use as material.

4. Before confirming, you can review the stat increase, level cap, and transcend count before confirming.

5. Press the transcend button in the lower-left corner of the screen to complete the process.

Costume Transcendence

Similar to gears, you’ll need to fully enhance (LV60) a S++ costume and you’ll need to use another S++ gear of the same type as material. However, as an additional cost, you’ll also need a “supplement” material - for example, a Mysterious Sewing Machine. You can buy supplements from the in-game shop, under Gem/General > Craft. You can also You can transcend by selecting the costume you want to transcend or going to the Boutique.

To transcend a gear do the following steps:

1. Access the Gear option then tap on the Custome tab

2. Select the equipment you want to transcend, then tap the Transcend button

3. In the following window, select the S++ costume you want to use as material.

4. Before confirming, you can review the stat increase, level cap, and transcend count before confirming.

5. Press the transcend button in the lower-left corner of the screen to complete the process.

This is a non-reversible process; however, there’s really nothing to lose here because of the stat bonuses you’ll get (except when you accidentally use a fully enhanced gear that you’ve been reserving for some reason). Gear Transcendence should be regularly done to your gears to keep them at their top potential and give you the most power boost as possible
