The Eminence in Shadow has a Stamina system that serves as a limiter that prevents players from playing the game for long hours in one sitting. This is because most of the important activities in the game like story missions and resource farming stages require a fixed amount of stamina. In our Stamina System Guide, we will briefly discuss how the game’s Stamina system works and how you can efficiently manage it.

The Eminence in Shadow is the mobile game adaptation of a popular isekai light novel where players take the reins of Cid, a modern-day teenager who gets transported to a dark fantasy world after death. Players have to collect various iterations and rarities of the established heroines in the game to form their ideal combat parties and proceed through the story.

Stamina or limiter systems are staple of some mobile games to prevent players from breezing through the content in a short span of time since prolonged player engagement is ideal for this platform. Mobile games are normally not meant for hours and hours of gameplay in one sitting. The Eminence in Shadow has this system as well but you’re not entirely locked out of the content since you can also use some consumables to instantly replenish your stamina.

You’ll also have access to a lot of stamina early on since you can increase your player level easily (stamina is restored every level up) However, eventually, prolonged gameplay sessions can become tedious, up to the point that you’ll run out of things to do. For example, at around player LV15, you’ll have a cap around 74 stamina. Story, (Normal) Chronicle, and Event stages require 10 stamina each. (Hard) Chronicles consume 20 stamina each battle. So this roughly translates into at least seven Story/Chronicle/Event stage battles or three (Hard) Chronicle battles.

One Stamina is recovered automatically every 10 minutes, and will continue getting recovered until the maximum stamina amount is reached. The maximum number of stamina you can carry depends on your account level. Your stamina value can exceed the maximum amount through the help of rewards so when that happens, your automatic stamina recovery will not activate until the stamina amount goes below the cap.

There is also stamina given throughout the day as daily rewards. On an ideal day, you can get a total of 150 stamina by logging in twice a day. These daily rewards get reset as part of the game’s scheduled daily content reset.

* 50 upon logging in

* 50 after logging in at 9:00 UTC

* 50 after logging in at 3:00 UTC

Alternatively, you can also use items like sandwiches or even gems to recover a set amount of stamina instantly, as listed below:

Recovery Item Description
Tuna King Sandwich Recover 10 Stamina. You’ll receive TK Sandwiches daily. Since they can only be used on the day you received them, don’t hesitate to use this item whenever you can. The maximum amount of sandwiches you can carry will increase as you progress through the Main Quests.
Tuna King Burgers Recover 30 Stamina. Unlike the sandwiches, these are uncommon and won’t be given to you readily. You can use 20 TK Burgers per day to replenish your Stamina. This counter will be reset as part of the game’s scheduled daily content reset.
Phantasm Gems Recover 100 Stamina. The amount of gems you’ll need will increase depending on the number of recoveries (using gems) for the day. You can only use this method up to 5 times a day. This counter will be reset as part of the game’s scheduled daily content reset. This is really not ideal since Phantasm Gems are the game’s premium currency and the cost will rack up quickly so use this only as a last resort.
