Missions are an integral part of games that have some sort of progression in them. In mobile games, repeatable and one-time missions or quests are consistent features since they provide players something to do daily. In our Missions Guide, we will discuss how the game’s Mission system is implemented in the game and why you should complete them regularly.

The Eminence in Shadow RPG is the mobile game adaptation of a popular isekai light novel where players take the reins of Cid, a modern-day teenager who gets transported to a dark fantasy world after death. Players have to collect various iterations and rarities of the established heroines in the game to form their ideal combat parties and proceed through the story.

First off, we have to specify that Missions are different from Quests. It’s quite common to loosely use the term interchangeably. In the game, think of quests as individual dungeons or stages that your party can challenge and farm for resources and other rewards. Missions on the other hand, are the set of daily, weekly, and one-time tasks that will provide you with rewards once completed. You can find the Mission button in the lower-left corner of the Home screen, as shown below.

After tapping the Mission button, you’ll see the various tabs or mission categories. Additional tasks will be added once you have unlocked the corresponding modes or features. If you have completed multiple missions, you can conveniently use the Claim All button to receive all available rewards. You’ll know if there are new missions completed if there’s a red dot on the mission title tabs or if there’s a small number label on the Mission button in the Home screen.

Mission Type Description
Daily These are the missions that you can clear daily. All missions under this tab will reset everyday at 4AM (local server time)
Weekly These are tasks that are directly related to Daily missions. Basically, as long as you play daily and clear daily missions, you’ll also have progress and completion with Weekly quests. Weekly missions are scheduled to reset every Monday at 4AM (local server time)
Tutorial These missions are usually geared towards new players, guiding them through various features and mechanics in the game.
Title These missions allow you to earn Titles that you can set in your profile.
Special Missions Completion of these missions will be based on your overall progress in the game.
Beginner These are similar to tutorial missions but are specifically geared towards new players. Completing the listed tasks will allow you to collect a free SS character (Rose’s Retaliation, Rose Oriana), her respective Shards, Summon Tickets, and more

Additionally, there are also Event Missions that are specifically for limited events. You can access these by launching the event’s screen. Event missions have Daily, Attempt (one-time tasks), and Title missions. Event Missions are tied to their respective events so once the event’s duration runs out, the event missions will become unavailable at the same time. Event Missions usually award players with the limited currency that can be used to exchange for prizes in the event’s shop so it’s always a good idea to clear these daily while you’re doing the normal missions as well.
