You go to the accessories (scarf and glasses icon) and you go all the way down to the face (a face with hair and stripes on check) and then you go to the picture that says unequip.

To the people saying the option is not there: it is. You can scroll down by the accsesories and at the very bottom it should show the face paint icon. Just scroll down.Guest Replied

Click on glasses and scarf icon, then on the left are 8 icons with watch and gloves at top then make up pallet at the bottom if you gently scroll up an icon with a face with paint on is right at bottom, click this and unequip will be available

You go into your wardrobe and tap on your face. After that, go to face paint. There should be a blank image of your characters face with no face paint on it. Hope this helps!

The game doesn't help (which is the root issue), but after a while I found out how to remove the face paint: 1) Go to Warerobe.
2) Click the Glasses & Scarf icon.
3) Physically scroll down the left sub-menu (or up in this case LOL), as in you have to move the icons yourself like you do in the game's world.
4) Click the face with the hair & two face paint lines at the bottom of the sub-menu.
5) You'll notice in owned on that sub-menu you have your normal face + the face paint, click the normal face.
6) Accept changes.
