Anyone know how to get it back if you we're only offline for a few days and someone else took it over?

the faction must be considered active, and the leader must be considered inactive. for a faction to be active, anywhere from 3-5 members minimum must be online consecutively over the course of 1-3 days - during which period the leader has become inactive, meaning they have been offline for 24 hours or more. in some cases, leaders have been dismissed as early as 22 hours of inactiveness. but the general rule is a day or more. after dismissal, a 24 hr vote takes place allowing popular vote member who resides in the city to take over.

once your faction has been taken over, there is no way to obtain it back other than the means it was taken from you. this system is in place to prevent useless farms or dead weight factions. it is a means to make sure that all present and accounted for leaders are actually leading groups and to promote balance of player activeness. if you miss any number of days as a leader in a live service game, you do not need to lead. no business can run without management. do your job, even if that means appointing your assistants to lead.

I have seen this process. it is a different one tho. lvl 8 mansion made faction. 16hrs after lvl 8 mansion was kicked from r5 by system mail and highest influence member was r5. it was our dummy account so we would all be r4...
