Space Leaper: Cocoon features a pleasant pixel-art universe with an interesting, furry cast of characters. With a torn universe, it’s up to you to weave the cosmos back! In our Attribute and Class Resonances guide, we will discuss the various resonances that can be activated based on the deployed characters and how they can affect the flow of battle.

Resonance Overview

Resonances are bonus effects or boosts that get activated depending on the attribute and class of the characters you have deployed on the field. There are six attributes and six classes in the game, and you can have multiple resonances as long as you meet the activation requirements. Since you can deploy up to eight leapers at once, you can freely experiment and play around with various resonance combinations if you want. You can also review the active resonances and which characters are involved in activating the resonance in the Deployment screen before a battle, as shown below.
Attribute and Class Resonances



A Resonance can be activated when deploying at least 3 characters of the same attribute or class. The activated resonance’s values can also be improved if you happen to deploy 5 characters of the same attribute or class. Furthermore, Resonances can be permanently upgraded, further increasing their default values and boosts, by upgrading them via the Cloud System app in the game.

Attribute Resonances

There are six attributes in the game: Flame, Wind, Liquid, Earth, Order, and Shadow. We will list down the LV1 values of each Attribute Resonance. You can further examine the preview of the upgraded values of these resonances by accessing the Cloud System in the third screen, tap Attribute Overview, then tap the individual resonances to see their details.

Flame Barrier
[Deploy 3 Flame leapers] Increase ATK and HP of Flame Leapers by 5%
[Deploy 5 Flame leapers] Increase ATK and HP of Flame Leapers by 5%, the Flame leaper with the highest ATK will become bigger, increasing their DMG, Physical DMG Resistance, and Energy DMG Resistance by 20%
Gale Barrier
[Deploy 3 Wind leapers] Increase ATK and HP of Wind Leapers by 5%
[Deploy 5 Wind leapers] Increase ATK and HP of Wind Leapers by 5%, the Wind leaper with the highest ATK will become bigger, increasing their DMG, Physical DMG Resistance, and Energy DMG Resistance by 20%
Torrent Barrier
[Deploy 3 Liquid leapers] Increase ATK and HP of Liquid Leapers by 5%
[Deploy 5 Liquid leapers] Increase ATK and HP of Liquid Leapers by 5%, the Liquid leaper with the highest ATK will become bigger, increasing their DMG, Physical DMG Resistance, and Energy DMG Resistance by 20%
Earth Barrier
[Deploy 3 Stone leapers] Increase ATK and HP of Stone Leapers by 5%
[Deploy 5 Stone leapers] Increase ATK and HP of Stone Leapers by 5%, the Stone leaper with the highest ATK will become bigger, increasing their DMG, Physical DMG Resistance, and Energy DMG Resistance by 20%




The Order and Chaos resonances have the same boosts as above when deploying 3 or 5 leapers of the same attributes. However, Order and Chaos-type leapers can connect with unactivated Resonances belonging to other types to activate Order/Chaos resonance.

Class Resonances

There are six classes in the game: Fighters, Tanks, Assassin, Hunter, Mage, and Support. Deploying at least three characters with the same class can activate a resonance; deploy five of the same class to activate the second effect.

Morale Boost
[Deploy 3 Fighters] When Fighter leapers defeat an enemy, all Fighter leapers’ morale will be boosted, increasing their ATK by 15% and Health Absorption by 20% for 6s.
[Deploy 5 Fighters] When Fighter leapers defeat an enemy, all Fighter leapers’ morale will be boosted, increasing their ATK by 20% and Health Absorption by 20% for 6s.
Transfer Shield
[Deploy 3 Tanks] Tank Leapers will gain a shield worth 20% of their Max HP after the battle starts. When a Tank leaper is defeated, all non-tank characters will gain a shield worth 3% of the defeated tank’s max HP.
[Deploy 5 Tanks] Tank Leapers will gain a shield worth 20% of their Max HP after the battle starts. When a Tank leaper is defeated, all non-tank characters will gain a shield worth 5% of the defeated tank’s max HP. Additionally, the Energy of the defeated tank will be evenly distributed to its surviving allies.
Dragon Phantom
[Deploy 3 Assassins] When Assassin leapers attack enemies from the side or rear, their Crit Chance is increased by 10% and when their HP is below 20%, their Dodge is increased by 10%
[Deploy 5 Assassins] When Assassin leapers attack enemies from the side or rear, their Crit Chance is increased by 15% and when their HP is below 20%, their Dodge is increased by 10%
Concentrated Fire
[Deploy 3 Hunters] For each Hunter ally that attacks the same target, their Basic Attack deals more Physical DMG. (2% of the hunter’s ATK stat)
[Deploy 5 Hunters] For each Hunter ally that attacks the same target, their Basic Attack deals more Physical DMG. (2% of the hunter’s ATK stat) Additionally, the target’s DEF is reduced by 20% for 5s.
Energy Surge
[Deploy 3 Mages] Every time Mage leapers deal damage to the enemy, 15 energy is restored.
[Deploy 5 Mages] Every time Mage leapers deal damage to the enemy, 15 energy is restored. Additionally, deals bonus Energy DMG (5% of the mage’s ATK stat)
Spirit Network
[Deploy 3 Support] Every Support leaper in the team increases the Energy Recovery per second of all non-Support allies by 5.
[Deploy 5 Support] Every Support leaper in the team increases the Energy Recovery per second of all non-Support allies by 7.
