Paddington Posters - How to find and defuse the bomb

In Episode 3 of An Elmwood Trail you will reach a point where you experience a flashback to a previous case. This is one that occurred 11 years ago when you were working at ADA with your partner Brian.

Paddington Posters Case

You will have a chat conversation with Brian as he investigates the Paddington Posters case. He is investigating this with another member of the ADA team, Richard. He will ask you to help him solve various puzzles and challenges. Follow the conversation initially to learn about the case and get the fist of the challenges.

Poster Words

Brian sends you words from each of three posters.

Giant, Spin, Fun

Hands, Tail, History, Bell

Throne, Power, Checkmate

For each of these sets of words you need to find a connection.

You will see four options below, choose the most likely category to then get four more choices. Follow this until you choose an item or location that matches the words.

Then repeat this with the other two sets of words to get three ansaers.

Solution:

Continue the chat with Brian. After talking about Richard he will send you two images.

You will receive a chat message from Richard. He will give you information about the poster of Death.

Sewer Tunnels

Talk to Brian again.

Now you need to examine the image of the feathers to figure out what is wrong with it.

As before you have four bubbles with choices to find the correct response

Solution:

Brian sends you the corrected image and a map of the sewer tunnels.

Use the clues to work out the final tunnel number from the directions.

Start at point 4 in the lower left.

Solution:

Bomb Puzzles

Brian finds the bomb, and a way to defuse it but you need to guide him. He will send you some images of a guide with relevant details. Have a look through these.

You then need to ask Brian a series of questions to determine what to do. These are based on the information in the images.

If you make the wrong choices you fail and need to try again.

First figure out which component to open, this is the first large image. (pay attention to the small image as well)

Note: This is not a time bomb

Solution 1:

Now the lights inside are blinking, you heed to determine the duration to wait to press the button.

Look at the second large image, and remember the details on the small image.

Solution 2:

Finally you need to cut a wire, but which one?

Look at the third large image.

Solution 3:

This completes the bomb defusing puzzle.
